Hey, everyone!! Sry for the late update - fell ill and I've been lying in bed since Wednesday [-_-]

Anyhow, I've taken the chance of me being able to see better (my sense were somehow gone) and move my body without feeling dizzy to update. I apologize in advance if some parts don't make sense, feel free to point them out.

This chapter only has Tae and his past. It might border on angst, but I'm not an angsty person, so I don't think it went there that much :D 

“Hyung,” Taehyung called quietly at the older boy that was sitting in the single couch across from him. Park Bogeum lifted his eyes from his script to look at the younger boy.

“Should I go?” Taehyung asked when he noticed that the older was listening.

The brown-haired actor eyed Taehyung’s long forgotten script. They were both starring in a music video of a female singer’s Comeback. Both boys were playing her love interests; Park Bogeum was playing the bad boyfriend that causes her to look elsewhere and develop a crush on Taehyung, who turns out to be her worst nightmare. It was a piece of cake, all they had to do was film a few scenes with Park Bogeum being an to her, them having a fight, then her meeting up with Taehyung every time to confide in. He becomes obsessed with her and starts stalking her and so on.

But they had just arrived and gotten the script a few minutes ago, but the younger male hadn’t even looked at it. He had been staring into space since they’d taken a seat back into the changing room.

“Go where?” The older asked, trying to multitask; reading the script and paying attention to the younger.

“To the party; Jin is back and someone is throwing a party for him and I got invited.” He murmured, slumping more into the couch, sighing.

“How come I didn’t get invited?” the older boy asked instead.

“Because you’re not the CEO’s son,” Taehyung muttered sarcastically. He was not dumb; he knew the reason why the majority of the people were nice to him was because of his family background. If he had been any average person the people that called themselves his friends, wouldn’t spare him the time of day. But that was the price of living in their world.

“But I’m best friends with the CEO’s son,” the older objected.

Taehyung sat up from the couch and threw the older an accusing look,” You wouldn’t even show up even if you got invited.” He shook his head as if correcting himself. “And a lot of people don’t really have the guts to approach you,” he added.

“Why’s that?” the other questioned defensively.

 “Cause you look all chic and cool in the media; nobody knows that!” he threw his hands in the air and motioned at the older comically.

“You’re forever alone, Hyung,” he said matter of factly.

“Just like you,” the older poked his tongue out at him.

Taehyung sighed and slumped back into the chair, running a hand in his now lilac hair.

He had changed his hair color just a few hours ago. Wheein had asked him why he had changed it into orange a few days ago. She’d stated that he could have kept the blonde color which had been before the orange; it had looked very good on him. But after a second thought, she’d told him that she approved the orange, it was tacky, but there was something about it that she liked.

After that knowledge, he hadn’t wasted time and tried to get an appointment with their hairdresser to change the color that Wheein-ah approved. Who was she to approve him of anything?

“This is why I’m taking you as my plus one!” he alleged excitedly.

“I don’t want to go.” Was the reply that followed.

“Of course, you do; this is a chance to make new friends,” he teased.

The older’s eyebrows furrowed,“You make it sound like I have no friends.”

“Hyung, we both know that you only have me and Hobi-Hyung,” Taehyung gave him his box smile.

“ you, seriously!” the older bellowed, but there was no spite in his words.

“You might get laid if you attend the party with me tonight. I heard there’ll be a lot of girl group members. Weren’t you interested in that older Noona you hosted a music program with?” he asked.

He noticed how the older’s eyes turned red and he avoided his gaze by looking back at the script.  Taehyung roared with laughter, knowing he got him with that.

“You do know that I shoot you in the MV right?” the older asked after a while.

“There’s action in this thing?” the lilac haired boy asked excitedly, finally picking up his script.  

“Isn’t Wheein going to be there?” Park Bogeum asked as they exited the lift down in the garage. 

Taehyung sighed dramatically, “Yes, Hyung, my ex is going to be there.”  He emphasized every word.

The older boy just shrugged, fetching his car keys. “I was just asking.”

“No, you never just ask,” Taehyung accused, approaching the now unlocked car. They had both arrived with their managers –Taehyung had more of a secretary, who was responsible for his modelling schedules and his educational activities, but it was almost the same as a manager, he saw no difference, but they had decided to leave separately without them and since the older boy had brought his car and had no schedules for the day it had been a solid deal.

“I honestly don’t get your relationship; she clearly wants you back, but what about you?” he asked when the younger got in the car and sat in the passenger seat next to him. He waited for the younger to buckle up before he drove off and exited the parking garage onto the street.

“Should I take you back to the institute?” he asked. 

Taehyung shook his head, but kept fidgeting with the radio” I can’t get back together with her.”  He had answered his previous question but had ignored the last, but the older already knew the answer.

“You can’t or you don’t want to?” he asked, throwing a look in the side mirror before he changed lanes.

“I’m married, Hyung,” Taehyung mumbled leaving the radio alone. Nothing good was playing anyways.

“As I remember only on paper; you can pretty much see whoever you want to see.” The younger boy threw him a disbelieving look. Was he really telling him what he thought he was?

He decided to find out.”It might go public if word goes around, do you know how it would look when it goes public that I’m married, but messing around with someone else?” he asked.

The older just shrugged. “It already looks like you two got back together; she visits your home frequently, she’s stuck to your hip at the institute and anywhere else and you’re planning on taking her along on that camping trip,” he said nonchalantly.

The more he spoke, the more the younger boy curled into the seat. He knew what the older was doing, and while he appreciated his Hyung addressing the Wheein subject passively he also disliked it. This meant that that the younger had to think about the things that he had been suppressing all this time. Yes, he had let her visit his home a few time since she had gotten back, but he had made sure that he was not there every time. It had only been a few times she’d caught him off guard. She’d even once dared to show up at the Jeons but security wouldn’t let her in – thank God for that!

But he somehow couldn’t bring himself to shun her at the institute or in public when she was acting so familiar with him. Nobody knew of their bad break-up, everyone just thought that they had broken up before Taehyung had flown to Japan and she had gone back to her ex for comfort. He also didn’t want to come off as the emotional one, the one who was too clingy, and the one who couldn’t get over getting dumped.

But he was all these things; he was still mad and every time she’d laugh, he’d remember back to the times she’d laughed because of him. Every time she would hug him and tell him that he didn’t have to be the perfect son; that he could do whatever he wanted, that she was not dating Kim Taehyung the model and heir of Kim Law Firm, but just him, who he was not what he was.

“The camping trip didn’t happen, you know that,” he mumbled. The reason the trip didn’t go through was because Tae Gi had caught a cold and had been bedridden until Sunday and it was too late to go. Bu
