SEYEON'S POV

My head hurts . My back hurts . In fact , my whole body was aching really badly . I struggled to open my eyes , but ended up squeezing them shut again as a ray of light shot through them like lasers .

Opening my eyes again , my head felt as if something heavy was being thrown onto it . Blinking several times , my vision slowly became clearer .

That was when my senses were slowly coming back and i felt something heavy resting on my right arm . Looking down , my eyes met with a face that I've never seen before.

Or did I ... ?

As I tried to get out of his grip slowly , I accidentally woke him up in the process . He stood up almost instantly and gripped on to my hand .

"Are you okay now ? How are you feeling ? Do you need me to get the doctor ? " The stranger asked with concern written all over his face .

Confused , I tried to sit up and woah , I didn't know even sitting up requires so much energy . My arms felt so weak .

Fortunately , before my arm could give way , the stranger assisted me in leaning against the wall , inserting a pillow in between .

"Is this by any chance ... the hospital ? " I asked with much uncertainty in my voice . Is this even a hospital ? It looks like a guest room in palace , of course not taking the medical equipments beside me into consideration .

"Yeah , you out yesterday night , don't you remember ? The doctor said that you were running a very high fever but since he gave you that thingy already , you should be fine by the time you wake up . " The stranger said , pointing to the IV bag beside me .

Suddenly , it hit me . " Wait ... LAST NIGHT ?! How long have I slept ?! "

Shocked at my sudden overwhelming response , he looked at his watch before replying hesitantly. " About 12 hours ...? You fainted at about 10 at night yesterday and now it's 10 in the morning ...? "

"OH MY GOD . Excuse me ,ahjussi . If you DO realise , this is like ... a suite room ? If it's nothing serious , like just a fever , is it necessary to admit me into such a expensive room ?! Where can I get the money to pay for my medical fees , HUH ! " I half -yelled , waving my hands frantically in the air .

Not wanting to waste another cent in this palace-like room , I pulled out the needle stuck onto my hand and got out of the bed . God , that sure stings , but my money is at stake now .

"HEY , WHAT ARE YOU DOING ? " The stranger asked , grabbing onto my arm firmly .

"Look , ahjussi . For your information , I'm just a high-schooler living alone . Hence , I don't think I can afford to stay on another second in such an expensive ward and thus , I shall leave now . " I replied , sounding really annoyed .

" You are still running a fever Seyeon ! How can you go like this ? If it's the money you are concerned about then I'm telling you I already had it settled for you so can you now , lie back down and rest ? "

My eyes widened at his reply . He what ? Settled the fees for me ? This ahjussi whom I just met ?

" Just get back to bed . " Just as I was still pondering over his statement , the stranger tucked me onto the bed once again . Got to admit though , this bed is way too comfortable .

"Why did you pay for my medical fees ? I don't think we know each other ? And how ... did you know my name ? " I asked , curious .

"Yeah we don't, but this amount is nothing to me so no worries . And about your name ... " He looked around , as if I caught him for doing something bad . " Oh it's written right here isn't it ? Your name tag . "

I looked down . Oh , it's there .

" Look , money isn't the issue here now . This is a problem of returning what doesn't belong to me in the first place and in this case , it's your money . How can I just let someone I don't know pay my medical fees for me ? Let alone the fact that we just met like ... 12 hours ago ? " I scoffed .

He just sighed and kept quiet .

The funny thing is , why do I feel so 'connected' to him ?

"Why did you pay for my medical fees ? I don't think we know each other ? And how ... did you know my name ? "

Oh . Should I just say that I'm her brother ?
