"Hey pretty lady!" Eunji called out to the familiar figure strutting down the stairs outside the big office building.

Chorong glanced at Eunji. An amused smile spread across her face as she walked towards the latter.

"It's you again," Chorong said.

Eunji's eyes curved into a crescent shape as she smiled. "Yes it's me again."

"You scammed me of my money the other day."

Eunji let out a small laugh. "Ah, what's $10 to you anyway Miss Park Chorong."

Chorong chuckled, not denying Eunji’s words. "How did you find my workplace?"

"In this modern day, we are all equipped with all sorts of advanced technological gizmos. Your name and company is just a click away, Miss Park Chorong."

Chorong shot Eunji an amused look. "Oh!" she exclaimed out of a sudden as a memory struck her. She searched her bag for something and when she found it, she handed it back to Eunji. "You left your watch on the table the other day."

"Thank you," Eunji replied. The corner of tugged up.

Chorong caught the sly smile. It didn't take her long to understand the meaning behind that smile. She narrowed her eyes at Eunji and scoffed. "You sly punk. You purposely left it on the table didn't you?"

Eunji grinned, her two sets of pearly white teeth almost blinding Chorong. Almost. For nothing can be as blinding as her eyesmile. "Aigoo, you're so smart Miss Park. Now I know why you're the CEO."

Chorong rolled her eyes. "So what do you want from me this time round?"

"Just your time," Eunji sang out heartily.

"I don't have time for you,” Chorong said flatly.

"They say time is money. If you don't have time for me, then surely you have money for me, right?"

Chorong scowled. "I've never met someone as thick-skinned as you."

"That's what you have to do in order to make a living."

"You can get a proper job instead of scamming people."

"Hey, being a con artist is a job okay," Eunji retaliated.

"It isn't," Chorong stated as a matter-of-factly. "It's a criminal offence."

"Whatever floats your boat, CEO," Eunji replied in a sing-song manner.

"Okay, let's part ways and never cross paths again,” Chorong deadpanned.

Eunji pretended to look hurt. "You just sliced my heart into two. Your sharp tongue is a sword."

Chorong rolled her eyes again. "Go away before I file a police report against you."

"For ual harassment?" Eunji wiggled her brow. "Lying is a sin," she said with a smirk.

"Says the girl who cons other people," Chorong fired back.

Eunji raised her hands, signalling her defeat. "You're too intellectual. I should just end this convo right now to save my face."

"Great. I hope to never see you again."

"Nah. We'll meet again," Eunji responded with an air of confidence, earning yet another eyeroll from Chorong.

"You're a tad too confident aren't you?"

"I'm a psychic, remember? I can see the future."

Chorong couldn't stop her smile from surfacing. "Okay, I have to say that you're really entertaining," she admitted as she noticed Eunji's lips slowly curling up into a victorious smile. "You haven't introduced yourself," she continued.

"I'm Eunji," Eunji said, as she extended her hand.

Chorong did the same and they exchanged a brief handshake. "Just Eunji?" she asked.

"If I told you my surname, it's suicide. It'll be easier for everyone whom I've scammed to hunt me down once they know my full name."

Chorong laughed and lightly slapped Eunji's shoulder. "Okay Eunji. I hope to see you again." She waved a hand to bid goodbye.

"Back at you!" Eunji replied excitedly, waving back as well.

Chorong was about to turn away when a sudden thought shot through her mind. "Wait, are you going to stick around here?"

"What do you think?" Eunji asked with a mischievous smile. She took out an auburn wig and a pair of rounded glasses from her bag.

Chorong shook her head, letting out a dramatic sigh. "All the best to you, and from the bottom of my heart, I wish good luck to your next victim."

Eunji gave her a 90° bow. "Thank you, CEO. I promise not to disappoint you this time round," she quipped, earning a small laugh from Chorong.

"Okay, that's all for today. It's a wrap. Good job everyone! And great job Naeun. You were amazing as usual," the photographer praised the blonde model.

Naeun smiled. "Thank you," she said to him graciously.

Grabbing her latest edition of Louis Vuitton handbag, she reached for her phone and decided to check for any text messages. She pouted when she discovered there wasn't any.

A split second later, a new text came in and Naeun instantly opened it.

Babe, are you done? I'm already outside, with your surprise ;-)

Naeun's lips curled up of her own accord. She hastily made her way out of the building, but still maintained her model-like aura for she had a reputation to hold.

Once she pushed the doors opened, she noticed her girlfriend taking a puff of her cigarette, while leaning against an unfamiliar red car. Naeun gasped and quickened her pace.

Hayoung couldn't possibly have...could she?

"Hey babe, here's a birthday gift for you. Happy birthday!" Hayoung said with a warm smile that Naeun was sure would melt every girl's heart.

That was a first, honestly. Hayoung's smile had never reached her eyes before. Thus Naeun was slightly surprised at the genuine smile, but she knew better than to say anything. She was aware that Hayoung didn't like it when issues concerning emotions were brought up. It irked the younger girl.

"Oh my god, you're the best babe!" Naeun exclaimed, throwing her arms around Hayoung, enveloping the latter in a tight hug.

Hayoung was caught off guard by Naeun's sudden action. She stiffened momentarily, before relaxing into the hug and patted Naeun's back awkwardly. When Naeun pulled away, Hayoung threw her cigarette on the ground and stepped on it.

"Sorry I couldn't get a burgundy one for you. But a red Maserati convertible is good enough isn't it?" Hayoung asked with slight uncertainty.

"I'm shocked that you actually remembered my favourite color," Naeun said, unable to hide her genuine surprise at the fact that Hayoung even bothered to remember her favourite color. Hayoung was definitely someone full of surprises. "It's more than good enough," the blonde assured.

Hayoung heaved a sigh of relief and gave Naeun a small smile. "Do you want to drive?"

"Of course! Where are we going?"

"So my place or your place later?" Hayoung asked Naeun, as she took a bite of her sirloin steak.

"Your place of course. My house is a mess," Naeun replied.
