Alexia's POV

Jae forced me and Mr.Moody with her to the cafe.

We sat there silently and Jae kept trying find out what had happened. I kept my mouth shut but he had to tell everything and then he blames it on me!? He's the one who hugged me and started to cry.

Jae mentioned something about his parents doing some kind of business and that's when Taehyung suddenly got up and left. Strange.

My phone rang, it was ahjumma.

Before I even got a chance to say hello, she spoke.

"Alexia, is Jae with you right now?"

"Yes but..."

"Please go somewhere else, I need to talk to you."

"Okay. Jae, just a sec." She nodded as I got up and went outside. "What's wrong?"

"I need you to come over because I have to talk to you about something."

"Oh.."

"Don't tell Jae please? She's meant to go to work so we'll be able to talk."

"Okay, bye!" I disconnected the call and went back inside.

"Everything okay?" I nodded.

"You've got work now, right?"

"Uh..um..yeah, I do." She seemed nervous all of a sudden.

We finished and parted ways. I reached Jae's flat.

"Has anything happened? Is everything okay? Are you okay?" I flooded ahjumma with questions as soon as she opened the door.

"Come in."

I walked in only to see him. Again.

"Why are you here?" I glared at him.

"I can ask you the same question."

"Okay, this is really important and I need both of your help."

"Help?"

"It's Jae." She sighed. "Has something happened to her? Has she been acting strange with you too?"

"Strange? Not really. And nothing's happened." I responded.

"She's acting differently and she's worrying me. Recently she's been going out more often. One day she's going to a party. The next day, she's saying she's going out with her friends at work. And then she says she's going out with you."

"With me? But we haven't gone out anywhere recently."

"What!? She lied!? I don't know what's wrong with her! She even comes home late. And yesterday? She went to a party and stayed over night. Did you guys go too?"

We shook our heads.

"Oh God..." She whispered as she sat down.

"Don't worry ahjumma. I'll find out." Taehyung said.

"No you won't. I will."

"Both of you will. Please...I really hope she's okay."

"Fine. If it's for the sake of MY best friend, then I'll work with you." I said.

"Just because she's MY best friend, I'll put up with you." He retorted but I just gave him a death glare.

"Thank you so much!" Ahjumma wiped her tears and hugged us.
