(Taemin’s POV)

After settling the two of them on different couches, me and the blonde haired guy plopped ourselves on the cold marble floor tiredly.

“Hey, thanks. If you aren’t there, I guess Donghae probably will be dead then.” A sad voice voiced out.

“No problem. So your friend’s name is Donghae eh? I’m Taemin, how about you?”

“Eunhyuk. And your friend?”

I paused, realisation dropping a bomb on me. After all this while, we don’t know each other’s names, so why did he say that he doesn’t want to trouble me just now? I don’t really understand him.

“I...don’t know.” I finally replied after the awkward long pause.

“...Oh.”

Silence engulfed us, but it was not uncomfortable. Soon, the sleeping bug had attached itself to me and was beckoning me to go to dreamland. My body full of aches was also not helping me in staying awake.

“Taemin, you looked sleepy and tired. Why don’t you nap for awhile? I will help you to look after your friend as well.” Eunhyuk’s voice sounded echoic.

“Okay...” I found my lips moving slightly before darkness overwhelmed me.

(Minho’s POV)

I woke up feeling refreshed and no pain going piercing through my whole body. I stretched myself like a cat, and finally noticed someone laying their head on the couch that I was lying at beside me. I turned my head slowly, predicting the person’s identity.

I face-palmed myself when I saw his tired and peaceful expression when napping. Him.

I was about to wake him up when a voice opposite us voiced out, “Don’t wake him up. He’s fallen asleep not long ago.”

I turned to the source and saw the pair which we had came upon while on our way to find the Vice Headmaster.

“Ah, it’s you.”

“Eunhyuk, and the one lying here is Donghae.” He smiled and introduced.

“Oh.”

“Hey by the way what’s your name? Taemin said that he doesn’t know your name.”

I glanced at the pretty student which I had cared for quite some while. So his name is Taemin eh?

I found my lips tugging upwards, forming a big smile. Eunhyuk looked at me weirdly before raising his eyebrow. Oops I forgot about his question.

“...Minho.”

(Yoseob’s POV)

“Phew, finally done.” I looked upon my ‘work’, where students are sleeping on available spaces comfortably. The entrance of the Vice Headmaster sure makes things faster.

Holding on to my aching shoulders, I went outside to take a breather, feeling Doojoon’s presence following right behind me.

“Doojoon, you must be tired too. Go rest, things are done here anyway.” I smiled after turning towards him.

He did not reply immediately, his eyes were only staring at me, his forehead scrunched up in worry. He definitely did look that he needed some rest.

I pushed him in no particular direction, and rushed him to go to his house to take a rest.

“Go go go. You looked so tired. If any professor finds you, I will tell them that you are resting. So don’t think about anything and go to sleep.”

Doojoon turned his head halfway towards me, but I could still see his worried expression while facing half of his face. Unconsciously I too, frowned.

I wonder what’s got him so worried about. Should I ask him?

Just when I was about to open my mouth to ask, he interrupted and finally gave a reply, “Yeah, I think I should. I shall go now, see you later.”

He quickly walked off, leaving me behind with many questions not asked yet.

How I wish I can read people’s minds...

(Hoggart’s POV)

“Sir, the attack failed.”

I swirled the red wine in the glass that I was holding, smirk plastered on my face. I knew the outcome will be like this, that academy couldn’t possibly lose to these midgets, could they?

This attack was just serving as a warning.

“Heh, I already knew it will be. Don’t worry, the future battles will be much more interesting than this.”

Darkness filled the room on command, and out of nowhere the glass wine suddenly was slashed into thousand million tiny pieces, the contents pouring out.

Finally.

My powers are going to be ready soon.

Let’s see who will be the last one standing, shall we, my lovable half brother?
