The Sunshine Before Storm
Academia Magica: School of Magic and Love(Doojoon’s POV)
“Yoseob.” Yesh, his turn now.
He came forward and greeted me, before asking for permission to start. I gave him my approval and he started to speak his magic chant.
While speaking, both of his hands were positioned in front of him, wrists crossed and palms opened. The chant finished, and up appeared a transparent looking air shield. I was going to scribble on my notepad about Yoseob’s ability of forming a defence shield, but boy was I wrong.
The air particles suddenly pushed out, forming spikes with an approximately 50 centimeters length that jutted out of the shield. A both defensive and offensive type of shield.
Yoseob just smiled triumphantly and punched his fist up in the air while saying, “Yeah!” when he saw my mouth hanging open slightly.
Impressive. Cute too.
(Sungmin’s POV)
“Sir, the freshmen classes are now proceeding with their magic practical lessons. No problems so far. Further reports to be anticipated.” I reported to a head-throbbing Hyunseung, whose relieving his headache by massaging his temples. Seems like the painkillers have no effects for the Headmaster’s troubling worries.
Hyunseung nodded with caution, careful with his head. He settled his head on the desk, with his arms placed feebly beside his head.
I took this as a signal to leave quietly, and closed the door with a soft click.
What he needs is a good rest.
(Kyuhyun’s POV)
Hmmm, this student named Taemin lacks confidence. How should I help him?
I was done with assessing the students’s magic skills, and will proceed to let them learn new skills the next time round. I was just walking idly along the corridor when I saw Sungmin closing the door to the office of the Headmaster’s.
“Sungmin.” I smiled brightly and skipped towards him.
Normally he would chuckle at my sully and childish actions, but today he just returned me a weary smile.
I stopped in my tracks, furrowed my eyebrows and pressed my mouth into a frowning thin line. Sungmin approached me and said softly, “Not today, Kyuhyun. I’m… just tired.”
I spurned myself around to find him walking away.
Not that fast.
I sprinted to him, grabbed his wrist and turned him around. I asked him sternly, “What’s got you so weary?”
He looked at me with begging eyes, eyes that wanted to shout something out, but he controlled himself and instead replied with an unconvincing ‘Nothing.’
Sungmin wriggled himself free from my grasp, and escaped. The sight of his back getting smaller and smaller made myself determined to know the truth.
No matter how much it was be kept a secret.
If there’s anything that let my Sungmin so tensed up, it must be a very serious matter.
But the question is---
How serious is it that it could not be leaked out?
(Hoggart’s POV)
“Is the preparation completed?”
“Yes sir, we’re are ready to attack.”
“Good. But take note not to use full power in this attack. We need it for future battles.”
“Yes sir, I understand.”
Hahaha, here I come, my past school, Academia Magica. Get prepared.
