TVXQ member U-Know Yunho is officially enlisting in the military and into active duty today, July 21st.

Yunho will first be admitted into the training camp where he will undergo five weeks of basic military training before beginning his active duties.

His admission time and the place of enlistment, however, has been kept confidential by SM Entertainment per Yunho’s wishes of a quiet goodbye.

The TVXQ member has been very busy the past month, taking the time available to bid fans goodbye. TVXQ performed an encore show of TVXQ! SPECIAL LIVE TOUR – T1ST0RY – &…! on July 13th and 14th at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium despite the MERS scare at the time. SM Entertainment took extreme precautions and safety measures to protect fans, staff, and its artists, impressing those who attended.

Additionally, Yunho completed filming the SBS Plus web drama I Order You, allowing fans to see him on the screen once more. Not only that, TVXQ also released their last album before their military enlistment, RISE AS GOD, a gift to fans who have cheered them on all this time. It includes solo tracks from both Yunho and Changmin, who is also set to enlist later this year.

Chapter 507: Actually for Jonghyun statement here is before GD's news. Jjong statement was on a show and he already shoot this long before GD's one was released. And I think you're not fully released all the statement. GD was ask to choose between SHINee and EXO, and he choose SHINee, because they're atleast have members that compose their own music.
I'm not a VIP and yeah I actually disappointed with GD's answer. He's so full of himself. The answer could've been better. He ofc can't compare YG system with SM. You know that SM mostly not allowing their Idol to realease their own compose song (at that time, maybe only Henry and Jonghyun that succeed to released their own song), but nowadays with SM STATION many SM idols allowed to release their own songs. Meanwhile YG always want their Idols to make their own songs, especially for their boyband. You can see the difference. 1. SM didnt trust their idols yet, but they willing to spent money on other composers. Not only that, most of times SM hire composer that ever worked with western singer and obviously it cost a lot.
2. YG pushed their idols to make their songs, they spent a lil money on composers. [Why I said pushed? If you look at B.I condition now maybe you'll understand.]
