On the episode of MBC’s “King of Mask Singer” aired on June 21, singers competed with each other to win the title as the sixth King of Mask Singer. Though “Mom Hates UV Rays” rose as one of the last candidates, she lost and was revealed as A Pink’s Jung Eunji.
The beginning of her stage started off softly, but built up towards the end of the song. Her powerful and mature voice heated up the stage, receiving a round of applause from the crowd. Though the internet had already started buzzing about the masked singer’s identity as Jung Eunji, the panel was still confused on her identity, guessing that the singer was “A mid-aged lady who sings well” or “Around her 30s or 40s.” Only Yoon Il Sang predicted the masked singer to be A Pink’s Jung Eunji.
Unfortunately, despite her powerful performance, the masked lady lost to the fourth and fifth king of mask singer, “CBR Cleopatra,” who managed to receive the highest score ever with Bobby Kim’s “Love…That Guy.” Jung Eunji was forced to take off her mask and reveal her true identity.
On this week’s episode of “King of Mask Singer,” VIXX‘s Ken puts on a hilarious chef disguise and wows the crowd and celebrity panel with his voice!
He sings “Don’t Be Happy” by MC the Max in the second round, but he ends up losing the round to a contestant who is later revealed to be A Pink’s Jung Eunji.
Before Ken removes his mask, some of the judges manage to guess his identity, although Ken tries to fool them by saying, “Who’s VIXX again?”
After his identity is revealed, he admits, “When I was watching the show before, I thought I wouldn’t be nervous, but I actually really was.”
One of the judges comments that this show has reminded him that idols can be really talented, and tells Ken that it seems like he’ll have a great career as a singer.
Ken looks disappointed as he heads off stage, but he hilariously keeps singing with his mask on as he’s on his way out of the building. In the parking lot, he says, “It was an honor to perform on that stage, so I’m very grateful,” before waving goodbye to viewers with a song.

Music streaming site Bugs is under fire for leaking the results to 'Masked Singer' before the 21st's episode aired.
'Masked Singer' told TV Daily, "We're currently looking at the situation. We're going to see how the spoiler was leaked, and we'll let viewers know after we grasp the situation."
As the main concept of 'Masked Singer' is to enjoy the voices of the singers without knowing who they are, many viewers are disappointed with the leak.
