Big Bang's leader G-Dragon appeared on JTBC's 'Newsroom' on June 18 for a nice chat with anchorman Son Suk Hee, who bravely brought up a topic that could be quite sensitive for some.

He said, "These days, your competitors EXO and SHINee released albums and are promoting.  What do you consider sets [Big Bang] apart from them?"  G-Dragon said,"What sets us apart is that we make our own songs, which appeals to the public, and the public likes the songs."  Granted, SHINee is definitely starting to create their own sound.

Son Suk Hee pointed out worriedly, "This very moment of us talking about this might make EXO and SHINee fans angry," but G-Dragon casually replied, "They might get mad, but it's true, so there's nothing that can be done about it."

Son Suk Hee continued, "Creating [the songs] must be important," and G-Dragon said, "It can't not be important.  If I were to receive a song from a composer and sing it, I'd personally have no confidence.  I don't know how it might be for other people, but since I was young, I relayed the songs I had made, so I would hesitate more than other artists if I were to relay [songs made by other people]."

Moreover, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon puts the speculations to rest as he responds to the question regarding his military enlistment. 

During the course of the interview, G-Dragon was asked about his military enlistment and earnestly replied, “I go when I go.” Despite the tensed atmosphere, Son Suk Hee also shared an advice towards the singer saying, “I’ll ask one thing. I hope you don’t lose your talent even after you finish the military.” 

G-Dragon roused interest with his honesty as he revealed that, “That’s my biggest worry. I won’t lose.”
