Ryeowon looked up as the door opened, she was in her room typing in a report on her laptop.

“Hey,” Kyungsoo said, she nodded at him.

“Are you okay? You seem..a little..short tempered.”

She shook her head.

“I’m not, I’m fine. I just..wanted to eat quietly.”

Kyungsoo sighed and walked to her, he gently closed the laptop and looked at her.

“What’s wrong?”

Ryeowon shook her head.

“I came here because I wanted to talk and possibly hang out with you.”

“Isn’t it Kai’s birthday tomorrow? Should we organize a midnight party?” She asked, Kyungsoo sighed.

“Won~”

“I think it’s going to be great, come.” She stood up from her chair and exited her room, and then she paused as she saw Shinah sitting on the couch.

“Hi, sunbae.”

Before she could reply, Sehun, Kai and Chanyeol stepped in.

“Oh Sehun.” Shinah greeted, Sehun bumped fists with her.  Ryeowon puffed her cheeks.

“Well? We doing it or not?” Kyungsoo whispered.

“Yeah, later.” She murmured back before trailing towards the kitchen. Sehun and Kai were both rummaging through their fridge.

“Hi, sweetums.” Sehun said dryly, Kai chuckled, then they both paused as Ryeowon walked to them and wrapped her arms around their waists. Sehun paused and looked at Kai.

“Ryeowon sandwich.” Kai chuckled and just pulled Ryeowon between them, Sehun sighed and just kissed the crown of her head.

“Well, it looks like she misses her two boys.” Chanyeol mused as he walked out of his room, Kyungsoo looked up.

Shinah glanced at them and rolled her eyes.

“I’m not going to lose you two idiots, right?” She asked, Sehun chuckled.

“Nope, you’re not going to get rid of us that easily.” Kai nodded, Ryeowon smiled before letting go.

“Wait, where are you going?” Chanyeol asked as she grabbed her coat from the rack.

“Out, I’m meeting Luhan and some of his friends for coffee.” She waved before leaving the place.

“Luhan?” Kyungsoo asked.

“Well, I guess it’s nice she has new friends.” Chanyeol said.

“Why do they have to be guys?” Kai muttered darkly, Sehun chuckled.

Kyungsoo just went back to Ryeowon’s room and shut the door behind him, Shinah blinked from her seat.

Ryeowon chuckled as Luhan pulled Tao away from her, they had just finished eating.

“Sorry, he tends to assume that he’s close with everybody.” Lay gave her an apologetic smile, she shook her head.

“It’s okay.” She nodded.

“Tao, please!” Luhan sighed, the latter just chuckled and gave Ryeowon a wave.

“You did say you have something to do?” Kris stepped beside her, she nodded.

“I kind of need to go grocery shopping for a friend, so I need to go first, then I’ll get going sunbaes.” She greeted before starting to step away, then she glanced back at Luhan.

“I’ll see you later, right?” She asked, Luhan nodded.

“Of course, be careful.”

Sehun couldn’t help but stare at the empty space beside her, they were at the mart, shopping for Kai’s party. Chanyeol was the one pushing the cart, Kyungsoo was checking the list.

“She’s supposed to be here.” Sehun jutted his lips at the empty space again.

“She said she’s coming.” Chanyeol said, Kyungsoo remained quiet as he picked up the items and tossed it in the cart.

“Who’s coming?” Ryeowon appeared before them, panting.

Sehun sighed and ushered her over.

“Well, how’s it going?” She asked as she looked at the items in their cart.

“I think we’re almost done. Shall we pay?” Sehun asked, Chanyeol nodded. The two started to walk away, Ryeowon was about to follow when Kyungsoo sidestepped her.

“Ya.” He said softly, she faced him.

“I wanted to talk to you, but you left. Are you mad?”

“If you wanted to talk, you can talk now.” Ryeowon said.

“Won, what’s wrong?”

She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair in annoyance.

“Nothing’s wrong. I just don’t feel like talking to you with Shinah around.”

“Shinah? She’s your friend too.”

“Of course she is, but there are things I cant tell you with her around. I…I..can’t do that. And I’m sorry.” She pulled her arm away from him before following the other two.

“Midnight party!” Kai beamed as he stepped in the apartment, he kissed Ryeowon’s cheek before helping the guys with the shopping bags.

“Oh, you guys are done?” Shinah stood up from the living room, Kyungsoo gave her a nod.

“Can I help with the fruit then?”

“Yeah sure.” Kyungsoo nodded as he helped her search for a cutting knife, Sehun, Kai and Chanyeol paused.

“But that’s Kai’s sweetums job.” Sehun pointed out. Shinah paused and looked at Ryeowon.

“It’s kind of tradition.” Kai nodded, scratching the back of his neck.

“But it’s just that fruit, Won, you can help me with the vegetables.” Kyungsoo squeezed her arm before walking back to get the other bags.

“No, I don’t like cutting vegetables.” She said, she put the bag down.

“I think I’ll just nap for a while, call me when you guys are ready.” She stated before leaving the unit.

Chanyeol winced.

“Go away.” Ryeowon said as she heard the door open, she had the blankets over her head.

“Get out.” She said again, she felt a weight press on the mattress; she turned beside her, Kyungsoo blinked at her.

“I’m sorry, Won.” He said, Ryeowon said and pulled the blanket down.

“I didn’t know that..these small things bothered you. I’m used to you being cool with everything.” He continued as he leaned against the pillow. She sighed and just shrugged.

“But I’m still Kyungsoo, right?” He asked, she couldn’t help but smile.

“My favorite med nerd?” She piped in, Kyungsoo just sighed and opened one arm to her.

“Yes, yes, the med nerd.” He repeated before pressing her close to him.
