"Kai, what are you talking about? Has being in isolation with me driven you nuts already?", I asked. I tried to keep my cool since I probably could've convinced him otherwise. It wasn't time to start panicking yet.

"I'm not crazy! I saw your body heal itself and those photos I took showed your birthmark", he exclaimed. I was taken aback from his accusations. For all I knew he could've been bluffing. 

"So instead of asking to see if I had a birthmark, you had to be a ert and take pictures of me?", I blamed. Kai's face flushed baby pink at the memory. 

"If I had asked you then it would've been weird. What if it was on an embarrassing body part? Would you still have shown me?", he countered.

"If you had asked me I would have shown you my birthmark. If it was an embarrassing place I would've told you it was on an embarrassing place", I argued, "Why do you even care about my birthmark? It's just a birthmark".

"Because your birthmark can glow and so can other parts of your body. I haven't figured it out yet but when you are hurt or sometimes when I see the tiniest scratch on you, a light glows from you and the next thing I know, that scratch is gone!", he marveled. 

"You do realize how crazy you sound right now, right?"

"I can't be crazy! I know for a fact that that happens. You're hiding something important from me and I know it has something to do with you running away".

"Kai! Calm down, you're being weird". I was hoping he would just forget about it because I didn't want him to think he was going crazy and hurt himself.

"You wouldn't be denying this so hard if you knew it wasn't true and you know that I don't tell fake stories either".

"Okay okay, I confess! I have something to hide but I will not tell you", I said shyly. "I promise that it's nothing that is going to harm you or the people in the Fog either. It's not what you are talking about either. It has to do with my family and I'd like to keep it that way, please and thank you".

"Alright. I won't bother you anymore, but if you cause harm to the people here because of some issue you have, I will personally end you".
