Chapter Ten: Chen's Prince-like Actions

{Amy's POV}

I was in the hallways going to my locker. I don't know if you know this (probably not) but walking down a hallway drenched in freezing cold water is difficult. Like...VERY difficult. You're shivering, cold (obviously), and your clothes are all wet and sticky. Plus I'm wearing a WHITE blouse with only a gray cardigan. Yup, I better hurry to my locker because this is not good for my health and image right now.

I was half way to my locker when I heard footsteps in my direction. I turned around and say the guy who got me into this mess.

"What do you want...Chen." I said blankly. I know it's not entirely his fault, but...I think staying away is better?

"Are you okay?" Chen said while looking at me from head to toe. "Nothing broken? Nothing-Oh my gosh, you're covered in water! Here, take my jacket.."

Chen took off his jacket and put it over my shoulders. A warmth over took me when he did that. The jacket was actually really warm. No Amy, don't.give.in!

"It's okay." I told him. I tried to shrug it off put he held it there.

"No, it's not. You're soaked in water because of me." Chen said looking straight at my face. "And I can't allow that."

My heart felt weird after he said that. I didn't know what this feeling was...but I don't like it...but then I do?

"Chen...why?" I asked finally.

"Why? Why what?" Chen asked confused.

"Why do you talk to me? Why do you even pay attention? I'm just a normal person, you're a rich, famous...good looking person. You can sing and you're popular. You are a kingka. I am a...peasant. Just why?" I explained, a bit frustrated.

Chen stood shocked for a moment. Then his eyes softened.

"I want to talk to you since you are different. You don't worship me like some god of some sort! You don't fangirl over me, you have actual talents." He said still not looking away. "That's why. I want to be your friend."

My...friend? This was new.

He continued. "And I'll keep bugging you, till you accept." Chen said while smiling.

"Accept what?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

"Accept that I, Kim Jongdae also known as Chen, will be by your side from now on." Then the darn boy winked at me.

My mind gave up at that point. This year will definitely be a crazy one.

Sorry for another "short" chapter >< School is starting again tomorrow and life is busy these days (not really but yeah). I wanted to end this one with a cliffhanger(?).

*whispers* I just didn't know how to end this cheesy chapter.
