“What do you mean ‘’”? Jiyong’s startled look makes me regret what I just said. 

“Chaerin, answer me.” His voice rises but he doesn’t take me off his chest. 

I quickly rest my head on his chest when I whisper, “I haven’t broken up with him.”

“You haven’t?” He pushes me off his chest and I almost feel like I’m intruding. I feel so dumb. 

“Why haven’t you?”

“Because I have feelings for him…”

“You’re here with me, though!” He yells. 

“Well, where is Kiko?” 

His eyes drop. Ha! 

“It doesn’t matter.”

“Yes, it does. Where is she?”

“In Tokyo.”

“Were you planning on breaking up with her?”

“No.” His answer catches me off guard and I feel a slight pang of disappointment. Why should I be surprised? If he can cheat on me, he can cheat on her. 

“There’s your answer.” Hypocrite. I sit on the chair next to the bed and slump down lower, hoping to fall asleep quickly.

“Get up, sleep here.” He pats the bad. 

Like a little girl, I shake my head and cross my arms over my chest. 

“I don’t want to sleep with you. Call Kiko or something but it’s wrong if we do.”

“But it’s cold…” He pouts and his brown eyes twinkle. I know what he’s doing. 

“The temperature is perfectly nice.” 

“Chae… please.” He sighs. Damn it, if this guy wasn’t the love of my life I wouldn’t oblige. 

I rested my head back on the pillow and turned to face him, my elbows propping me. “What now?” I tease.

He pulls me to his chest and I smell the faint hint of cologne and food. His arms pull me even closer and I’m nuzzling his neck. I pull back a little, just enough to look up at him. My hands reach out to trace his jawline. A slow smile creeps up on his beautiful face and I almost think about dumping Beenzino through text just to get it over with, but that would be so y. I sigh, frustation and sleepiness taking over. 

“Tomorrow will be a new day but stay here with me tonight.” He whispers. 

I nod and soon pass out, vaguely feeling his lips on my forehead.
