The faint lights of the VIP lightsticks light up the dark stage. I grasp the microphone tightly and try to remember her soft skin. I don't think I'll ever forget her touch and how warm her hands were. The smell of her hair was intoxicating and her laugh made everything alright. Falling in love with her was the best and worst thing that has ever happened to me. In the beginning, I became hyper-aware of the world around me. My sense were awakened and life seemed so much simpler. All that mattered were the music and her. Life showed its true colors and made us realize that love isn't simple. It's complex, intricate, and scary. When you love someone so much you become scared of how far the love will go. I would have done anything for Chaerin.
