OST: Salted Wound by Sia

The elevator doors open and we are met with the strong smell of chlorine. The water is glowing and the city lights can be seen from the tall windows. Jiyong bends over to the cabinet and reaches for a swimsuit and swimming trunks. He hands it to me and says, "Are you going to get in now?"

"Yeah, I'm going to change." I quickly find a bathroom and change. I come out to find he is already in the pool. 

"It's warm," He smiles up at me.

Slowly, I get in and instead of warmth, I shudder from the sudden coldness running through my body. This is what he does to me. 

He swims over to me and stops in front of me. His eyes travel all over my face until they reach my lips. He knows what he's doing. He flashes his trademark smirk and steps closer. My breathing stops. My heart starts racing for a marathon and goosebumps travel all over my body. He takes my hand in his and lifts it. He watches, almost in admiration, as the drops fall from fingers. He presses my hand to his cheek and closes his eyes when they make contact. I watch, perplexed,  as I see this side of Jiyong a lot of people don't get to see. 

"I'm tired," he whispers.

"Because of the album?"

"Yes, but I want to give fans the perfect comeback album."

"We just have to pull through."

"We?" He an eyebrow.

I roll my eyes and mouth "We." 

"I like the sound of that," He smiles. 

We stay there in silence as his words linger in the air. What is going on? I slip out of his grasp and swim away from him. I swim towards the windows. Maybe the skyline will help me clear my mind. I sigh as the twinkling lights of the city shine brighter into the night. Jiyong and I could never go out when we were together. It would be too easy to recognize us and rumors would start flying. I rest my head on my arms and watch as Jiyong stands beside me. I can tell he's thinking about something because of the way his eyes twinkle and shine. We stare at the skyline until the words "What happened to us?" fly out of my mouth. Jiyong's eyes widen in surprise and I, instinctively, cover my mouth and silently curse myself for blurting that out. He turns back to the skyline and his brow furrows. I can tell he's thinking about something
