CHAPTER twenty nine

This chapter isn't proofread or anything so sorry for any mistakes or whatsoever.

 

Aera watched the cup of coffee splattered across the table and groaned loudly. She took her time to clean it, ignoring all the other customer that was giving her the annoyed look. Her day was officially ruined.

On a relax motion, she grabbed the tissue and place it on the coffee and prayed to heaven that there will be a staff who will clean it up for her, which in a matter of few seconds arrived and saved her from her misery.

“Do you want a replacement for your coffee, Aera-shi.” Aera didn’t care if her eyes twinkled in joy when she nodded her head to Kyungsoo who was smiling at her gently. He was really an angel sent from above.

“Yes, please.” She took a deep sigh and stare at nowhere, again.

Her mind was too busy to even see how people looked at her curiously, some were from her neighborhood and some were not.

She was bothered by Kai’s words, he said that they weren't friends. If they weren't, then what were they? How about those times when she relied on him, maybe not that she expected that she felt like that.

How about those talks that they have shared, maybe she call it bickering but still, Aera won’t spend too much time for a stranger just to prove her point or whatever and partly bared herself to a person she just basically me?.

How about his promise that he will make her see the world with a better light? She was looking forward to it. And now she felt like he was just using those chance to prove her wrong about Sehun.

“That’s bull.” Aera muttered, feeling totally annoyed.

How about those kisses?

Aera gasped and smacked her both cheeks with her hands. “Of course, that’s bull too.”

But that was her first kiss, it can’t be a bull. But… was her first was with Sehun?

She was busy on self contemplating when a familiar voice reached her ears. It was Baekhyun talking loudly to the man that occupied her thoughts and they were walking towards her direction.

She didn’t know why but her heart went erratic when Kai’s eyes reached her and stayed at her for a while. As if he was waiting for her to acknowledge him. She didn’t know what in the world happened when her face burst a smile and her hand waved at him, but everything faded when he looked away as if he didn’t saw her, or maybe he saw her but he didn’t want to talk to her.

Aera’s head lowered until her eyes reached her coffee and calmed her breathing. Her mind couldn’t function properly as she relish the feeling of being ignored.
