EmptyCHAPTER twenty eight
。I wonder if you even realise how confused you make me feel.
”This is what love should feel like?”
Aera pushed him off and turned to her side. She was panicking. His words felt like cold water on her head. Was he trying to prove her wrong regarding her love to Sehun?
Her chest tightened in pain. She knew that what she did was stupid. Since she trusted Kai, she acted on those feelings of trust. There was a problem though, and it was that her heart wanted someone else.
Before Kai could turn her around, she sprung off the bed and escaped from the room. She settled herself onto the living room couch and buried her head into her knees. She knew it was wrong, he never did that before.
“Why does it feel good?” she murmured. Her mind was in a deep mess, and her thoughts tunneled through her mind. She closed her eyes, and imagined Sehun smiling brightly at her. But, Kai’s face also made an appearance, and her heart went erratic with confusion. Aera then opened her eyes and shook her head abruptly. “No, it’s Sehun that I really care about,” she whispered, but deeply, she didn’t really believe those words anymore.

After thinking so, she shook her head. She didn’t want to be that kind of person, and despite her young age she could distinguish between right and wrong.
‘He won’t bother me anymore.’
‘He won’t touch me anymore. He’s a bad person.’
Her feet then stopped. There were finally people around her, but no words came. She wiped her sweat and walked as if nothing happened. Her heart ached, but she convinced herself that it was for the best.
‘No one will take care if you if you don’t take care of yourself. That’s how life works, Aera,” she recalled what her mother said to her. So on those words, she acted on her own and saved herself.
‘‘It’s not that I killed him, right?” she tried to console herself.
Aera looked around. No one would know about this, as she had no friends to confide in. And so she walked home slowly, muttering to herself that this was not her fault.
----
No one knew that she did this on purpose. People said that she might had been so scared that she ran from Mr. Jung’s dead body.
Aera wanted to talk to someone about this, as she had terrible nightmares every night. She then told
