Chapter 9 – Hyukjae’s POV
I didn’t wait until I reached home to read the letter. Apparently, I didn’t head back home with my parents and went to my escapade – my dance studio. I know that if I were to head back home with them now, they would probably nag the hell out of me since… I’m the main reason why Hyun’s lying on the hospital bed. They have also been asking me about our relationship status for the past few days but I wasn’t going to admit we’re together since I don’t even know if we’re really together or not.
Now here I am sitting on the floor in my dance studio all alone, getting the letter out of my pocket and opening it up to read.
‘Hyukjae oppa,
You must be wondering why I’m writing this letter to you, isn’t it? Actually… I wrote this before I’m heading to meet you later outside the café. I know what you’re going to say. I know we’re going to break up. I could hear it from your tone that you’re using. Even though I know it, but I still can’t stop hoping that we’re just going to have a meet up because we haven’t been meeting each other for so long.
I miss you. In fact, more than you could ever know. I’m sorry but I broke the condition that you’ve set before we entered this… trial relationship. But I have to tell you that actually before this trial relationship, before everything, I’ve already fell in love with you.
I fell for you when we were in high school. Come to think of it… It has always been me carrying a torch for you and getting jealous when you have got a girlfriend. I wasn’t going to admit it or even confess to you. I don’t want to risk our friendship being ruined because of that. Moreover… the girls you’ve dated are too pretty and I wouldn’t even dare to compete against them.
I’ve have always been out of your league.
But I just want to tell you that I’ve been really happy throughout these few months spent being your girlfriend. I’ve never once treated it as a trial relationship but instead, I’ve treated it seriously. Thank you for being such a nice boyfriend to me and for keeping your promise of not flirting around when you’re still with me and have been a faithful boyfriend for me.
These few months are certainly the happiest time of my life. Although you’ve decided that we should go separate ways, but I hope that you’ll walk out of your mindset of fooling around and find the girl that loves you as much as you do soon.
Lastly, I hope we can still be best friends like we’re before…
And Hyukjae oppa, these three words are the words I feared saying the most whenever I’m with you, but since it’s known now…

A teardrop fell and dropped on the piece of paper. Hyun… She has always been there but I’ve never notice it before. I didn’t even know she was carrying a torch for me for so long. She has been there by my side for all the times, but me…? I just looked at all the other girls except for her.

Ok and so, today my exams finally ended but that just meant more projects coming ahead T^T Anyway hi readers! ^^ I'm back with another update! Hm, and I think Break Your Heart is ending... SOON. I don't know when but I think around... 5-8 more chapters? Idk. Kekeke~ I'm going to start another fic (if I have an idea on what to write about, without writer's block) when this ends~
Won't be writing sequels for this too because I at writing sequel~ Kekeke ><;; Ok I'm like the only one awake now and it's so quiet that it's scary... ><
