Since arriving in Beijing, his goal was simple really; find Wu Yifan. 

He wasn't part of some special police force or somebody important, no way! He despised the police just as much as anyone else did really. What good had they ever done for him?

Oh no. He was never going to be associated with them. The reason for finding Yifan was the personal connection the two of them shared. Personal being emphasised here and that's how he wanted to keep it. He couldn't have Yifan walking out freely like this and potentially exposing their connection. Big no no in his books. 

Upon arriving, he knew that Yifan wouldn't go very far, well, to begin with he wouldn't. Where was there left to go for him? Who in their right mind would want this guy near them anyway? 

It was difficult though. Yifan was a smart guy and knew he was going to have to hide somewhere. This made it difficult, very difficult, to find some sort of lead as to where he could possibly be. See, some things happen just by pure luck. When you least expect it, it usually happens and it can have various effects on the person involved. Whether luck was on his side the day he saw the boy from the bakery run across the road to a tall blonde guy he would never know, what he did know was that he recognised the blonde guy from somewhere. In fact, on closer inspection, he knew that blonde haired guy very well. 

Which is why he kept going back to the bakery. With his eyes firmly planted on the worker, he learnt to built up a mutal ackonewledgment of each other so the guy didn't find him weird or threatening. Some nights he left the guy alone, other nights he followed him back to his apartment, waiting for the right moment to go and see for himself if his hunches were correct all along. 

Waiting for the guy to get into his car and leave the apartment, the moment was finally there. The moment to finally see if Yifan was hiding there all this time. 

It didn't come as a shame for him though upon knocking on the door of the guy's apartment and getting no reply. He even went as far as to look through the window to see if he could notice anything out of the ordinary. Call it desperate or whatever the word needs to be, but determined he was to see if his eyes were decieving him or not. 

"Am I really this desperate to find you?" he muttered to himself, taking a few steps backwards from the apartment, laughing when imagining how silly he must have looked at this moment. 

"You can keep running Yifan. You can keep running all you want but you and I both know that one day I will find you. No matter what method I need to use, I will find you"

Having customers come back to the bakery continuously must have meant they liked the place. Surely. Though Yixing couldn't help but find it the tiniest bit unsettling that the guy who proclaimed to be a tourist had now been staying in Beijing for quite a while. 

"It's not unusual for tourists to stay here for a long amount of time" a co-worker said when Yixing brought the matter up 
"If he's stinking rich then he probably has the money to extend his stay. Probably staying in one of the swankiest hotels in the city" Luhan added. 

"He may have even moved here permanantly" Yixing muttered, voicing out his own thoughts before shaking his head and getting back to work. He seriously needed to work on his skills of not worrying about the tiniest of things. 

Cue the door to the bakery opening, the chill of the air hitting the people inside and a familiar figure stepping in. Looking up and catching their eye, Yixing inwardly groaned and tried to get his co-worker to serve them instead of him. He wasn't on to judge a person on appearances or just by their personality, but Yixing couldn't shift the fact that there was something about the guy that made him seem, well, off. 

"I'll take the usual" they said, flashing Yixing a smile as said guy nodded his head and got to work. All Yixing had to do was get his order done and then he would the man would be on his way and Yixing wouldn't have to see him again for another few days. Each visit making Yixing hope and pray that it would be the last time he saw the guy. 

"You know" the guy began as Yixing handed him over his order 
"I've been coming here often and I know every person in this place. Even the deer looking kid. Everyone except you" pointing to Yixing. 

"Well I'm never one to really speak to people. Bit shy you see" Yixing replied. All complete lies of course. 

"It would be nice to at least know the name of the person who always seem to serve me so well" the guy said, stretching out his hand with Yixing hesitating before finally reaching out and taking his hand. 

"Zhang Yixing" he said 
"Pleasure to meet you. The name's Guo Ling" and with one last look at Yixing and a smirk, took his order and swiftly left. 

So uh yeah, I have a poster and background now! You like it? I do! 

And Guo Ling. Very important character... as you can guess from the above. I was tempted to add another member into the story to make the enemy but I feel that adding one more would be too much... if that makes sense... so I made this character instead! 

Finally, getting closer to Luhan's chapter which is gonna be funny. Trust me.
