First Date

Daeya was preparing herself for her first official date with ChanYeol. Sure, they have met in the morning just them two so that could be considered as a date but ChanYeol had officially asked her out on a date later on that day and she wanted to be as pretty as she could for her new boyfriend. As she tried to apply a bit of light makeup she couldn’t help but think of how the day had begun.

When ChanYeol had left the room with Ara she had felt almost betrayed to be left alone facing all their friends after bluntly revealing they were together. She couldn’t watch over at HongBin because she felt his disapproving stare. He was surely thinking that all this was too fast. She couldn’t watch to ChanYeol’s friends either. She knew they were quite reserved about her and the relationship she could have with ChanYeol. She felt trapped. As she raised her head she saw HyeMin and Yina exchange of look and felt a bit better. It seemed that the two girls were figuring out how to lighten the atmosphere.

“Daeya… Do you want coffee” asked the first girl as the other was taking her to one of the seat that was left vacant.

As she was motioning Daeya to sit down Yina also throw a daring and piercing gaze at her boyfriend, as if she was ordering him to behave nicely.

“So… How was the night HongBin? They didn’t bother you with their sleep talk and everything?” Yina asked as if nothing had previously happened as HyeMin brought Daeya her coffee and smiled at her knowingly.

“It was… Alright I guess. But I think I shouldn’t be the one talking about my night.” the young man answered as he intently looked over his best friend.

At hearing her friend, Daeya buried herself in her coffee as she tried to avoid thinking of the eleven boys stare that were on her figure again.

“Oh really? You want us to tell you about our trip? We haven’t known each other for that long but well… Ok!” HyeMin answered the man.

“Well… We came back in the middle of the light yesterday. The trip was cool but we kind of missed everybody here, so it was high time we came back and…” Yina began before being cut by her boyfriend.

“You know, I’d love to hear that but I think we all know that’s not what he was talking about…” BaekHyun said as he put a hand on his girlfriend’s ones.

“And I know you perfectly know that we’ve understood and we were trying to change the subject because there is no way you’re going to harass Daeya alone.” She answered back as she swiftly snapped her hand out of his.

Silence fell again as the boy flushed a bit from his girlfriend comeback. He already didn’t really liked the idea of ChanYeol and Daeya being together but if he had to add that the girl he liked was taking their sides over his, he liked that even less.

“I mean… We should let them sort this out together. We better ask ChanYeol. Leave them some time to themselves. And when they will be ready they’ll tell us.” Yina added as she could feel that her boyfriend had taken her swift answer as an offense.

Finally, when the girl had said so, it had seemed that the room’s atmosphere had loosened a bit and Daeya had been able to eat her breakfast quietly as the others chatted beside her. Later on that day, HongBin and her had left the house. She had only told HongBin she was going to go out but she hadn’t need to tell him more than that for him to figure out she was going on a date with ChanYeol. As she applied the final touch of her makeup she heard the bell ring and rushed over the door.

“I’m leaving Binnie. See you later.”

And just like that her first date with ChanYeol began.

The young man hadn’t planned anything really fancy. During their walk in the morning they had agreed on taking things slow and try to figure everything out by doing things together.

“You are… beautiful” ChanYeol couldn’t help but say while trying to hide his embarrassment.

Daeya blushed a bit as she saw his reaction. ChanYeol had always been very expressive since the day they’ve met and she could see that his reaction was totally sincere as his eyes had lit up and his wide smile couldn’t hide his happiness.

“Thank you. How have you been since this morning? I hope your friends have not bothered you too much…”

“I guess I’ve deserved a bit of teasing since I was the first to do so with SuHo and BaekHyun…” ChanYeol shrugged.

“You mean… They only teased you? They didn’t seem very… happy to hear about us getting together…”

“They’re going to be alright.” He turned his head over her and took her hand. “We’ll be alright” he added as he squeezed lightly her hand and smiled at each other. However Daeya could feel that he was bothered. She knew she was very close to his friends. She had already heard him talk about them as his brothers and it bothered her to know that she was the reason of his worry.

“I think we shouldn’t focus on them and rather enjoy our date.” The boy added as he noticed the girl frowning and sudden silence. “How about having a coffee and go to the cinema later on?”

“Sounds good to me…” She smiled back at the boy who was beaming at her, trying to hide his concern.

ChanYeol hold her hand a bit stronger and headed toward his favorite coffee shop. He knew this was going to please her because the decoration on the wall was made of pictures of customers and he knew she would like it, being a photograph student. The day went well as they shared talks and smiles. It’s only when the time had come to get back to their own house that ChanYeol saw that his leader had tried to call him at least twenty times.

Soooo... Here is the "first date". I know it's not fluffy at all... I'm so bad at writing fluff...:/ BUT I promise I'll try next chapter to do a very fluffy very ChanYeoly date... (I don't even know what I'm even meaning by "ChanYeoly" XD)
