Stalking

He had left the house in a hurry and was now pondering in whether or not he should go talk to her.

He was afraid it would be weird and scares her out like crazy. Plus he wasn’t sure that it was safe for his family either…

Taking a deep breath he realized his wolves senses were waking up and hid behind a tree. There she was.

He knew it was creepy to think that way but couldn’t help but think that he should just follow her from afar for a while before coming to her “accidentally”.

She was even prettier than the day before, he thought, wearing a simple black dress that flowed around her legs. But she wasn’t alone. A guy was going with her.

Daeya had had a weird feeling for days. She had felt like being followed. Though she knew somehow it had to be a side effect of her assault, she couldn’t help but fell it was also real.

Each time she headed out of her house she had a weird feeling of someone’s look upon her. She could almost still feel the breath of the man on her neck and it scared her to death. HongBin had noticed that and it was one of the reasons why he was always going out with her these days. They were only friends, but since the assault and him taking care of her, moving in the same place also, she had a real affection for the young man.

She was alone for once. HongBin had some errands to do and he was supposed to join her later on. Bored she was looking at her surroundings and saw a familiar figure. Blinking, she watched again only to see an empty space, as if the person had been hiding behind the lone tree.

Maybe it was just her crazy mind but this time he had looked so real…

“Cha… ChanYeol? You’re here?”

“Daeya? Oh I haven’t seen you there…”

ChanYeol wasn’t a really good liar but the girl didn’t seem to notice. Relieved he began to speak with the Daeya.

“So… How have you been since the last time we met?”

“I’ve been fine… What about you?”

“I have too… Listen… Last time I was kind of… We were in such a hurry that we didn’t get to talk… How about we taka a coffee here or…”

“A coffee would be great ChanYeol.” Daeya answered smiling brightly.

As they talked ChanYeol realized that it wasn’t that hard to talk to her now that they were facing each other.

With his wolf senses he had a great advantage: as he felt her heart beating fast he knew that she was as happy and excited by their meeting than he was.

Time passed by as ChanYeol talked about his friends he lived with and considered as brothers –leaving out the fact that they were werewolves though- and Daeya talked about her passion for photograph

They were still talking when the sun became to set at the horizon, and as soon as Daeya realized it she became to panic.

“What is it Daeya? Is there something wrong?”

“I… It’s not important but I’d rather get going… HongBin must have headed directly home because he was late somehow and it’s not that early…”

“But it’s only 6 PM…”

“I know but these days I… I need to be home early you know and… I’ll call HongBin so he’ll come here to fetch me … But if you want we can meet again… Tomorrow?”

“I’d love to see you tomorrow but you don’t need to call your friend. What about me escorting you home?”

“You’d do it? Really?”

“Well… I’d do it if you give me your phone number first.” The young man smiled as he extended his hand, presenting his phone to the girl.

“I guess I don’t really have a choice” the girl answered jokingly, trying to relax.

ChanYeol was going to accompany her home. She was going to be entirely safe, she thought as she typed her number.

“So now, I’ll be able to get to you…” ChanYeol noticed and Daeya couldn’t help but think that it meant that he had wanted to reach her for the past days.

They began to walk, Daeya leading the way to her home in the growing darkness. ChanYeol could feel her distress. As her heart was beating fast, he could also feel her anxiety and he saw her hand shake. Was it because of the slight breeze or because of fear? He couldn’t know. Even though his wolf instincts were quite developed he was also restraining them not to transform right next to the girl in a street.

But seeing her hand made it even harder. He was curious and had to stop this by any mean.

Without thinking twice, he grabbed the girl’s hand and kept it under his as he began to walk a bit faster. Daeya had gasped at the feeling of the young man’s hand on hers. But she soon relaxed under the softness and warmth of it. It just felt good.

As they arrived at her house he let her hand go.

“I’ll be texting you a place and time to meet for tomorrow. Now off you go, I thought you needed to be home early.”

“I’ll be waiting for it. Thank you for escorting me here. See you soon.”

She awkwardly waved at him as she entered the house. A few minutes later she was receiving a text.

“Be ready at 8 AM, we’ll continue our conversation with a breakfast. And don’t forget to enter my number.”

She couldn’t help but smile like crazy as she received another text. “BTW it’s Channie.”

And as Daeya chuckled she met the disapproving look HongBin was giving her.

Here you finally go for an update. Be prepared for a more romantic feel in the story ;)

I'm sorry I didn't update for two days... I had very huge days (I'm finally on holidays but I have t clean the whole house before leaving) and it was also quite hard emotionally (I'm kind of a very emotional person and I had to bid farewell to the children in my class and collegues... And I kinda cried a lot (and I mean A LOT)).

Anyway I'll try to update every day but I can't promise anything right now since I have a lot to do these days... :/

You may think that Daeya is too obsessed by her assault... To be frank I haven't lived what she is experimenting in the story (with a knife etc) but I was kinda ually assaulted not too long ago and beleive me it obssess you for day after and it freaks you out as hell. I hope you'll just have to trust me on that, accept it on the story and I really hope you'll never live it.
