Texting

The letters seemed to be glowing in the dark as Daeya was looking over and over at the text message ChanYeol had sent her. The fact that he had put “Channie” instead of “ChanYeol” meant a lot to her: he was comfortable with her already.

Sure, HongBin hadn’t seemed pleased to see her going home that late with ChanYeol but she didn’t really care. She had just said that she was tired and had headed toward her room without letting him any time to speak.

As her thoughts were wondering, her phone illuminated her dark room, showing that she had received a text message. Who could be texting her in the middle of the night, at almost 2 in the morning? Being curious, she took the phone and looked at it.

*From: Channie

Hey… I hope you won’t wake up bc of me… One of my friends wants to come tmr so if yours wants too it’s fine…*

Daeya chuckled; apparently ChanYeol didn’t succeed in sleeping either… One more thing they seemed to have in common. Her phone glowed once more.

*From: Channie

Btw I’m rly sorry if I woke U up.*

*… and if I didn’t then Good morning!*

Daeya’s fingers danced on her phone as she decided to answer ChanYeol back.

*From Daeya:

It didn’t wake me up but It’s not the morning you now…*

*From Channie:

Then good night? How come you’re not sleeping? Are the sleeping pills not efficient*

Daeya was taken aback by the question. Truth was that she didn’t take the pills. She didn’t want to sleep too deep. She was somehow used to these weird and somehow stressful dreams… She had a kind of fascination for this wolf she had seen so many times in her dreams. She felt linked to this creature wherever it was and whatever it was.

*From Daeya:

Thing is… I don’t take the pills. They are too strong to my liking and I feel like sleeping during the day too… But don’t tell it to HongBin tmr plz…*

She wanted to tell the truth but she couldn’t. She really felt something for ChanYeol and she didn’t want a silly thing like her dreams take him from her life… Who would consider her knowing her silly and crazy dreams? And even though she could feel that he liked her as much as she liked him, she thought it was too early in their relationship to even consider talking to him about that.

*From Channie:

I won’t. Pinky promise. But even though I don’t want you to bc I’d rather have you talk to me all night long, you’re going to put this phone aside and sleep ok. Good night Daeya!*

Daeya sighed. She didn’t want the conversation to end that soon but he was true. She knew she had to follow what he was telling her.

*From Daeya:

Goodnight I guess… See U tmr*

*From Channie:

Plz don’t be mad at me for telling you to go sleep K? Can’t wait for tmr, miss U alrdy*

The girl blushed like crazy. She had almost answered “Can’t wait too, love U”. He had read in her like an open book and felt she was upset by this goodbye.

Turning off her phone she tried to sleep.

It was here again. Facing her was the fascination wolf she had seen so many times in her dreams before.

She could see so many things she hadn’t been able to see before. Now that it wasn’t running after her anymore and did not try to bite her she could see each and every detail of its fur and muzzle.

Its dark orbs also had red reflection; its fur wasn’t just brown but also a bit auburn with almost red lightings from time to time.

And she couldn’t help but feel attracted by this creature. She wanted to nestle against its soft and delicate fur.

She didn’t know why it wasn’t attacking her but she liked it that way. She had missed him during the numerous nights she had not seen it. It was a part of her life and she wanted to understand why she kept thinking about the wolf.

Smiling at the beast, she reached for it muzzle and began to caress it affectionately.

She had thought the wolf would react violently and try to bite her hand but it wasn’t the case. It seemed that, on the contrary, the animal was enjoying being petted.

Maybe it needed to be tamed. Maybe it wanted to be tamed, she thought as she began to reach for its neck to cuddle.

As she did so, she couldn’t help but feel blessed. It was as if she was hugging a cloud.

It was soft and supple.

The wolf began to make a noise that seemed to be like a purring. It was now a fact: the wolf liked this interaction as much as Daeya did.

At least as much as a part of Daeya liked.

Because even though the girl didn’t want to admit it, a huge part of her felt less than attracted by the wolf. On the contrary, the hatred she had for the wolf could have killed it if Daeya hadn’t handled her hands and arms not to break its neck.

I'm sorry for not having been able to update the past few days... This chapter is a bit shorter but I'm on holidays and I had a very looooong day leaving my appartment to go to my holiday's house.

Anyway the thing is that I don't have a good internet connection where I'm at ritgh now. So I'll try to update as often as possible but I can't promise anything...

Another thing is that I just realized I think this fic may be longer than 20/25 chapters (What I used to do for the other form the wolf serie), what do you think about it? Would you like a 30 to 40 chapter story or would you rather prefer a 25 chaptered one? (comment to tell me If you have a liking)
