Conversation

As ChanYeol and Daeya were practically left alone in the room while figuring the status of their friendly relationship, HongBin had been taken to another room by some of the guys.

The two leaders of the pack had thought that it was a good idea to chat with Daeya’s “friend” for several reasons. For once, if ChanYeol and Daeya were meant to be, he was important that he couldn’t be an obstacle for their relationship to evolve.

HongBin had always been in Daeya’s shadow, following her every move since her assault, being there from the very beginning of ChanYeol’s relationship with the young girl; and the guys couldn’t help but notice that he really cared for Daeya. If he had a crush on Daeya it could be a real obstacle.

On the other way they had to check that he will indeed be here for the girl if only ChanYeol and Daeya weren’t meant to be. They knew Daeya was a possible threat for the pack but they didn’t know if they were a danger to the girl. And even though they didn’t really know her, they felt that it wouldn’t be right to hurt anybody. If HongBin was here to protect her, she would be fine that way.

“So… HongBin… Have you known Daeya for long?” asked SuHo nonchalantly as he was pouring another glass of soda for the young man.

“Well… We’ve known each other for quite long even if we didn’t’ really clicked. I mean… I’ve known her for at least ten years but we never really talked as friends and hang out before this year. I suppose our passion for photograph must have been the reason of us becoming closer…” HongBin answered, his mind quite clouded by tiredness.

“And… What do you think of ChanYeol…?” asked LuHan

“You really think I’m going to tell you about that? You’re ChanYeol’s friends…”

After meeting Kris eyes thought, it seemed that HongBin was much more disposed to answer this question.

“… I mean… Isn’t I weird? Shouldn’t you ask her what she thinks of him…?”

“… We could… But I think that being the friend you are, you must have noticed something in Dae’s behavior…”

“I… I guess I can tell that she likes ChanYeol’s company… She was really happy when she had met him and now she’s just really happy to see him and meet you guys and… yeah that’s all…”

“Do you think she cares for Channie more than just the friendly way…?”

“I have no clue.”

“… More important… Do you care for her more than a friend should?”

“I do care for her more than any friend should. I care for her like an older brother should. I’ve always been physically close to her; I’ve seen her grow over the years… I’ve grown really attached to her and since the beginning of this year I’ve discovered that I couldn’t handle the idea of her being hurt in any way possible. But I can tell you that ChanYeol will be free to court her if it’s what you want to hear. However if he ever does hurt her, he’ll have to deal with me. I like you guys but I don’t want her to be hurt. Understood?”

SuHo could feel that HongBin was really saying the truth. He didn’t consider Daeya as a possible girlfriend. She was just a little sister to him.

Reaching for the door, HongBin threw a last look at the six boys that have been interrogating him and left them dumbfounded and pensive.

“Wow… I never thought he could give such a strong impression…” Lay mumbled.

“Yeah I agree I never thought that either. He was really determined to shut us up.” Tao added quite upset but nit really knowing how…

“Guys don’t be harsh on him. He was just doing the exact same thing we just have been doing…” LuHan reasoned his friends.

“Yeah… He was just trying to protect his friend…” BaekHyun thought out loud.

“But… What struck me was that he wasn’t impressed by Kris’ stare…” LuHan added jokingly.

“What do you mean” foresaid young man asked.

“You have never realized that you were somehow quite impressive?” SuHo joked.

“Not really…” Kris denied meeting the surprised look of everybody in the room.

“You mean… You’re never understood why we put you and Tao in first base when we had to fight in high school?” Lay asked bluntly.

“Wait… Do you mean I’m impressive too?” Tao asked, happy as a child finding his Christmas presents.

“Yes. But that’s not the point right now.”

“What is it SuHo?”

“You haven’t felt it?”

“What are you talking about for god’s sake?”

“He hadn’t been just standing there, resisting us in some way. Confidence really exuded from him. He owned this conversation even though we were the one who provoked it…”

As all the man became thoughtful, their leader couldn’t help but add another matter for them to be upset.

“Guys… Even though I like HongBin, I’m not sure we should trust him. I really felt lessened while talking to him and I could feel his aura.  I know you will call me crazy but… I’m not sure we should trust him because I think he could become an issue. I fear that he could be a werewolf too. And not any werewolf but a strong leader of a werewolf pack… Or anoter creature we shouldn't trust...”

Hi lovely readers! Here you go for another chapter. I'm sorry for not updating regularly...I try to do it as often as possible though!

What is great with this story is that even though I have a storyline, I can't help but add elements each and every time I write a chapter XD (like HB leaving such a strong impression) sooo... It means even more chapters!
