Night-time confession

Daeya couldn’t help but toss and turn. She had been thinking for hours now about ChanYeol’s demeanor.

Sure, she had felt awkward after hearing him saying that she meant for him. A part of her had felt flattered and even really happy about it. But, as usual, another part of her seemed to warn her against it. And it seemed natural that ChanYeol would somehow avoid her. But she had been really vexed to see him behave like that. Furthermore she was frustrated. In fact, when she had been looking for answers, when couldn’t have any. When she was about to have answers; her best friend had barged out of a room, feeling really angry and she had went for him. He wasn’t safe here and she could feel it so it had been a better idea to appease him as soon as possible and stop talking to ChanYeol.

Now it was night time and since they have said they would sleep there they have stayed. Because they didn’t know her very much and she was a girl, she had been installed in SuHo’s girlfriend’s room. The girl should have been there but BaekHyun had received a text saying they would probably come home in the middle of the night so Daeya could see stranger coming in any minute. She couldn’t help but think of HongBin, lost in the middle of guys he didn’t know that well.

But she also couldn’t help but think about ChanYeol. He should have been relieved to avoid the end of the conversation he had been dreading. She felt even more stupid when she thought that he was surely already sleeping soundly on the other side of the wall.

Feeling even angrier with herself, she decided to get out for some fresh air. She looked over at her pajamas: a tank top and a short… Oh well, she wouldn’t meet anybody anyway, she will hide if she heard a sound… While opening the door she was watching out for any sound and almost forgot to take care of the wooden floor that was quite noisy.

ChanYeol was quite obsessed by Daeya. He really wanted to tell her what he thought he felt for her but, at the same time, he had always on his mind that she could be the trigger of the pack’s dismantlement. It was quite hard but he had managed to keep his distance until now.

Though he couldn’t help but think over and over about the expression on her face when she had realized he was avoiding her during the evening. He couldn’t help but hear the anger and deception in her voice as she had tried to talk to him about his behavior.

The thought of Daeya frustrated him even more. She was like a ghost always flying over him, always tormenting his mind… Not being able to control his thoughts anymore he was beginning to make him angry and he noticed each and every details around him: the noises his friends made. Trying to calm down, he decided to plunge in the pool and cool off.

When he reached the surroundings of the pool, he didn’t notice the sleeping figure on the swing seat and plunged from the diving board in the pool.

As he emerged from the water, he didn’t realize he had woken up the girl until he splashed her.

“Eh! Take care please! “

Daeya was willing to get unnoticed but now that she was quite soaked thanks to him she decided to express her discontentment.

“Daeya! You… What are you doing here?”

“I couldn’t sleep. It’s really hot in there. You’ve never considered putting an air conditioner?”

“Not that I can remember…”

The two stared at each other, unwilling to leave and unwilling to stay at the same time. As usual it seemed that time had stopped and that they were lost in a world only the two of them knew. Well, to be exact, the two of them and their doubts and other selves.

“Dae… I’m sorry…”

“For what? Not talking to me?”

“… I meant for wetting you… But… But I’m also sorry because I wasn’t that great of a friend a few hours ago.”

“It’s ok I guess…”

“I really am, I promise…”

“I said it’s ok. Don’t ever try to do it again that’s all.”

“I won’t.”

“So… Can I ask you something?”

ChanYeol perfectly knew it was risky for him to agree on that but it also seemed that he couldn’t resist her in any way. He had momentarily banned his wolf and was trying to enjoy the moment with the girl he was with..

“Yes you can. What is it?”

Daeya fumbled with the hem of her tank top as she took a deep breath and asked the young man.

“What did you mean by someone you “deeply cared for” earlier?”

ChanYeol cleared his throat before answering nervously.

“I think you know what I meant”

“… I think I do too but I’d like to be sure you know…”

Daeya had come to the edge of the pool to dip her feet in it. ChanYeol took a deep breath before plunging his head in the cold water once again.

“Well… It means I want to take care of you… I like you really really much…”

It was Daeya’s turn to clear .

“How… How much?”

“That much” ChanYeol said as he grabbed the girl’s feet and pulled her in the pool before kissing her lightly in the lips while bring red as a tomato. Surprised but overwhelmed Daeya blushed, her face being bright red and her eyes avoiding his.

“I like you that much too Channie…”

The young man smiled hugely before noticing “Wait… How did you call me?”

“Channie. And thanks to you CHANNIE, I’m now completely soaked from head to toe and I can’t go back to my room…”

“Well… You can’t deny you liked it…” ChanYeol answered, a smirk forming on his lips. “…And I can lend you an oversized T-shirt and a short if you want…”

“If it’s not too much to ask it would be cool. Not that I don’t like be in your arms but it’s a bit cold out there when you’re wet…”

“On my way to get it for you!”

The young man entered the house with light feet not to awake anybody and grabbed the first T-shirts and shorts he found in his cupboard.

“Here you go. You can change in the pool cabin over there. I’ll change in the shed and wait for you here…”

“Thanks.”

“Don’t thank me I’m the one who soaked you.”

As the two of them changed they couldn’t help but think of what just happened. ChanYeol’s wolf part did bother him a lot as well as Daeya’s protective side but each decided to shut their voices up for once and try to see what would happen if they trusted their other feelings.

“You look great on my T-shirt you know.”

“I trust you on that. Thanks.” Daeya smiled as she reached to cuddle lightly the boy, blushing once more.

As Daeya was burying her head in the young man’s chest she only heard a voice that wasn’t ChanYeol’s break the atmosphere the couple had.

“HERE YOU ARE… Oh you’re not alone…!”

I don't know if you noticed but... Today's chapter is longer than usual!!! (for once it's not shorter YAY!)

Anyway I'd rather tell you: WARNING fluff ahead!!!^^

I had some problems with my internet access today and I thought I wouldn't be able to fix it and post my chapter but thankfully I could!!! :)

Also I don't know if you're interested but I found out some OS ideas I had (for VIXX though) and a OS I've written in January (With Leo from VIXX => gosh don't get me started on this guy...) that I may post in here these days... (telll me if you're interested)...
