Chapter Nine:

 

The week following graduation was one of the worst for Yoona. She kept feeling sick and tired and weak.

 

Taemin was worried for her.

 

“Noona, shouldn’t you go see a doctor?” He asked her one day after watching her vomit in the morning.

 

Yoona rinsed and shook her head. “I’m fine. I must’ve gotten a cold or something.”

 

Taemin frowned. “But your voice doesn’t sound weird and sick. You just...ARE sick!”

 

Yoona made herself a cup of hot water.

 

“No...maybe because of stress...or something.”

 

She held her head.

 

“Taemin, noona is going to lay down a little.”

 

Taemin watched as Yoona went to her room weakly.

 

He sighed.

 

“I hope you’re alright, noona.”

 

A few hours later, Taemin knocked on Yoona’s door.

 

"Noona? I cooked dinner for you."

 

No reply.

 

"Are you awake, Yoona?"

 

Still no answer.

 

Carefully, Taemin opened the door and looked inside.

 

Yoona was laying down on her bed. Taemin gently shook her.

 

"Noona..."

 

When Yoona still didn't wake up, Taemin decided to call 911. The ambulance arrived in a few minutes and drove Taemin and Yoona to the hospital.

 

Taemin waited nervously in the waiting room.

 

'Noona....please be okay...'

 

The doctor came out and called Yoona’s name.

 

Taemin followed the doctor into Yoona’s room.

 

"What’s wrong with Yoona?"

 

The doctor smiled.

 

"She’s just suffering from a bit of exhaustion."

 

He patted Taemin’s back. "Also, according to the test results, your sister is pregnant. Congratulations on becoming an uncle!"

 

Taemin was shocked.

 

"W-what?"

 

'Yoona.. .is pregnant?'

 

The doctor turned and left right when Yoona woke up.

 

"T-Taemin?"

 

Taemin sighed.

 

"Noona..."

 

Yoona looked around. "Taemin...what happened?"

 

Taemin looked down.

 

"Well, you wouldn't wake up so I called 911."

 

"Nothing is wrong with me, right?"

 

"Noona..."

 

Yoona looked at him.

 

"What is it, Taemin?"

 

"Noona...you....you're pregnant."

 

Yoona was shocked.

 

"W-what...?"

 

Taemin looked down. "The doctor said you're pregnant."

 

Yoona felt like crying.

 

"W-what? How..."

 

She thought back to that one night when she woke up next to a half Taecyeon.

 

She buried her head in her arms.

 

"No...this can’t be..."

 

Taemin Yoona’s back.

 

"Yoona...do you know who the dad is?"

 

Yoona nodded slowly.

 

"The dad...is....Ok Taecyeon..."

 

A few days later, Taecyeon drove to Yoona’s house with his luggage. He, Yoona, Taemin, Sunny, Sooyoung, and Sungmin were all heading to the Cabi Bay Water Park for the shoot. He went up to the house door and knocked.

 

Taemin opened the door. He had one suitcase and a drawstring bag.

 

“Hey, hyung!” Taemin smiled.

 

Taec smiled back.

 

“Hey. Where’s your sis?”

 

Taemin looked back. “She’s coming."

 

Taemin couldn’t believe that Taecyeon had gotten his sister pregnant. He wanted to tell him that he had a kid but Yoona had told him to not say

anything for the time being.

 

Yoona came out of the house with a suitcase and locked the door. She turned and Taecyeon saw that she looked a bit more pale than usual.

He walked up to her, kissed her, and carried her suitcase for her.

 

“You okay?” He asked.

 

Yoona smiled weakly at him. “Yeah. I’m fine.”

 

Taecyeon sighed. “Maybe you should stay home.”
 

“No! I can’t let ROM down like that?” Yoona insisted. “Besides, I’ll be fine in a while.”

 

Yoona smiled weakly.

 

'I can't tell him about the baby yet...'

 

Taemin and Taecyeon were unsure but they got into the car and drove to the Cabi Bay Water Park. Before long, they arrived.

 

                                                    

“Wow!” Taemin said in awe. Yoona gasped at the beautiful architecture. Taecyeon grinned. Across from where their car was parked, Sunny,

Sungmin, and Sooyoung waved.

 

“Hey!” Sooyoung greeted happily as Taecyeon, Yoona, and Taemin walked over to them.

 

“Isn’t this place awesome?” Sunny grinned.

 

Sungmin smiled. “Hey, guys.” He looked at Taemin and gasped. “OMG!” He grabbed Taemin’s arms. He turned to Yoona.

 

“This is your brother?”

 

Yoona nodded.

 

“WOW! He’s so cute!” Sooyoung squealed.

 

Sungmin smirked at Taecyeon. “I think we found another male model.”

 

Taemin blushed. “I can’t model.”

 

Sungmin laughed. “That’s what she said.” He pointed at Yoona. “AND what he said…” He pointed at Taecyeon. “But they turned out great!”

 

Yoona winked. “If you want to try, you can.”

 

Taemin thought about it.

 

“Well..maybe.”

 

Taec smiled. “Well, think about it a little more.”

 

The group entered the water park. The manager greeted them happily.

 

“Hi! Welcome to the Cabi Bay Water Park! I’m Manager Kim.”

 

Sungmin shook hands with him. He gestured towards Taecyeon and Yoona.

 

“Here’s our top models, and they will be shooting the couple scenes.”

 

Mr. Kim smiled. “Ah! You two will surely attract a lot of attention to our park!” He pointed to the buildings. “Well, come, come! I’ll show you your

hotel suites.”

 

Sunny and Sooyoung squealed. “We are staying in SUITES?!”

 

The group followed Mr. Kim into the main hotel and he showed them their rooms.

 

“Sungmin, Taecyeon, and cute little Taemin can stay in this suite…” Sunny pointed to the suite to their left. “And us girls can stay here!” She hopped inside the suite to the right.

 

Yoona nodded and Taecyeon smiled.

 

“That’ll work.”

 

Mr. Kim smiled. “I hope the rooms are comfortable. Today will be a free day for you all since it’s almost dark anyways.”

 

Sungmin nodded. “Alright! Shoot starts tomorrow then!”

 

Sunny squealed. “Then let’s go have FUN!”

 

Taemin and Sungmin rushed straight to the waterpark while Sunny and Sooyoung went to pig out at the buffet. Yoona and Taecyeon walked slowly around the park.

Yoona felt tired and leaned against Taecyeon. He noticed her lack of strength.

 

“Are you okay?”

 

Yoona looked up. “H-huh? Oh...yes. Just...tired.”

 

She looked away.

 

Taecyeon felt her forehead.

 

“You have a fever.” He picked her up gently, bridal style. “You should go to sleep early.”

 

Taecyeon carried her to her room and set her down on the bed. He felt her forehead again and sighed.

 

Taecyeon stood and placed a damp cloth on her forehead. He her back and watched as Yoona slept peacefully.

 

The next day, the group met for breakfast downstairs. The food looked delicious to Yoona but the smell…
 

Yoona fought back nausea. She looked away for a while.

 

'Stupid morning sickness...'  She thought.

 

Soon, everyone had finished eating but Yoona.

 

“Yoona, you barely ate anything.” Taecyeon sighed worriedly.

 

Yoona turned. “Oh...I’m not hungry.”

 

Sunny looked at her, concerned. “Are you okay?”

 

Taemin bit his lip.

 

Yoona plastered a weak smile on her face. “I-I’m fine.”

 

She stood. “I’m just...not hungry.” She pointed to the waterpark. “Let’s start the shoot.”

 

Taecyeon stood up and rubbed her back.

 

“Are you sure you’re okay?”

 

Yoona looked at him.

 

“O-of course, oppa!” She took his hand. “Don’t worry so much.”

 

Sungmin grabbed his camera.

 

“Then let’s get to it!”

 

The shoot lasted a fairly long time. After seven hours, including an hour lunch, the photoshoot was done.

 

 

“Wow!” The manager, Mr. Kim, grinned while looking at the photos Sungmin took. “These are really good!”

 

Sungmin bowed. “Thank you, sir. I try, I try.”

 

Taecyeon smiled at Yoona and gave her a high five.

 

“Great job today, Yoona!” He complimented.

 

Yoona blushed. “You too, oppa.”

 

He leaned in. “You feeling better? I noticed you ate a little at lunch.”

 

Yoona smiled weakly. “Yeah. I feel...better.”

 

Taecyeon didn’t quite believe her but nodded. “Alright. But, if you feel sick later, tell me. Okay?”

 

Yoona nodded.

 

Taemin whistled. “Noona, you look really pretty! Even prettier than usual!”

 

Yoona blushed and hugged Taemin. “Thanks.”

 

Sungmin clapped his hands. “How about we all hang out tonight at the Cabi Club! Drinks are on me!” He laughed. “JUST KIDDING! We have to pay NOTHING! We are honorary guests here!”

 

Sunny whooped happily. “YAY! Let’s GO!”

 

Taemin pointed to the hotel. “I’m going to shower first, hyung.”

 

Taecyeon nodded. “Alright. See you later.”

 

Taemin headed off towards the hotel.

 

Taecyeon hugged Yoona.

 

“Do you want to rest? Or do you feel okay?”

 

Yoona didn’t want her oppa to worry about her. “I-I’m fine. Let’s go.”

 

She took Taec’s hand and led him to the club.
