The sun shined bright upon the mountains, the blue sky decorated with white clouds, the sand under his feet, warm and soft, white as the clouds shined with the bright lights of the sun. The tides caressed the shore as he walked into water, his eyes blurry with the amount of salty water in there. A sigh let out of his lungs, a fist slowly opening as blood dipped from his hands. He had done it again, he had bargained and lost. Through eternity he saw, the same scenery once repeated through his eyes, and yet everything was different, nothing new he could do, only to savor the sour taste of misery.

The water hit his bare feet, cleansing the feelings of his soul. A sour sob crept through his mouth, a silent cry made its way out of his heart. A broken, miserable heart, cursed to repeat again and again the same horrors it once had, yet nothing could cure it, no spell or chant could lift it. He was curse, an eternity of sorrow, of watching and losing, of caring and forgetting.

Falling to his knees, watching the calm scenery in front of him, he let go of the only thing that mattered to him, for water shall cleanse her body, and once she’s gone, it was all over again.
