Permanent Devotion [[Complete]]“What?” JaeJoong groaned.
“Manager Hyung wants us to talk to us in the living room. Now.” Yunho nudged JaeJoong one last time and walked towards the sitting room with an awaiting manager sitting on the sofa. By the time all of them were standing in front of the manager, he started to speak.
“Now guys, my…uuhh…niece is coming tomorrow and she will be staying here in your apartment in the guest room.” He explained, he thought that saying Mia was her niece would prevent the guys from flipping and saying things like ‘you can’t let a fan in here!’
“But hyung…that room is a mess” Changmin, the thoughtful maknae murmured
“I know and you guys are responsible for making homey”
“What?! We’re singers not cleaners! Besides, she can clean it when she gets here…” JaeJoong, the cold one snapped. All of the members’ heads turned towards him, not only for answering back to the manager but already disrespecting his ‘so-called’ niece.
“Just for that JaeJoong, you’re cleaning her room.” The manager taunted and JaeJoong’s eyes widened. Yunho turned his head the other so that Jae can’t see his smiling face. Although Changmin failed to keep his cool, he chorused a chuckle… after chuckle…after chuckle and Junsu couldn’t help but to join him. In the end all four of them were sniggering.
“What are you laughing at?” Manager exclaimed “you all are helping to clean out that guest room, understand? Dinners’ on me. Better get going!”
TVXQ all headed for the guest room right next to JaeJoong’s room and sighed. It was the place they dumped mountain piles of fan letters and gifts. The bed was all messed up with no sheets; the windows were all dusty along with the closet. Yoochun took the first step inside the room only to find out, he really couldn’t step on anything…the floor was not visible.
“Umm…” Yoochun started looking around for a spot he can step on.
“Let’s get started, Changmin and Junsu, go get a… LOT of bin bags and Me, Jae and Yoochun can start clearing these things off.” Yunho instructed the rest of them and nobody argued. He was always the man of the house, responsible for his children. TVXQ would be absolutely lost without him. While in the process of cleaning, Yoochun wanted to add something to his humour and read some of the fan letters meant for him. Yoochun sat down and opened a fluffy pink envelope.

“Aww…” Yoochun cooed and opened another letter but before he could start reading it, Yunho threw a Mickey Mouse stuffed toy and hit Yoochun on the head. Yoochun pretended not to feel this and continued on to the letter, Yunho thought ‘might as well…’ and picked up a letter labelled ‘Yunho Oppa’ he opened it and springs out a picture of him and a picture of a girl.

“Aww…” it was now Yunho’s turn to coo. JaeJoong was sweating in the corner of the room sorting out the things that wasn’t needed while intensely glaring at both Yoochun and Yunho picking up letter by letter making more mess than there already is. Junsu and Changmin came in with hand full’s of bin bags in their hands and handed one to JaeJoong.
“Hyung? What are they doing?” Changmin asked JaeJoong
“Goofing off” JaeJoong meekly replied and threw a shoe at Yunho’s head before shoving stuffed toys into the bag. ‘Just when I thought this apartment is already full, another intruder must come’ JaeJoong thought.

Mia was sitting on the metal seat inside the airport excitedly waiting for her flight, watching the people walk by and all she could think of what to do, what to say when she gets there. Her mom just left along with her dad that was thinking twice about the decision.
“Do you have you medicine?”
“Yes”
“How about—”
“I’ve got it all dad, don’t worry”
“I’m just… worried about you princess”
Mia was touched at her parent’s actions, ever Mia herself was worried, it might be the last time she sees them for all she knows. But she just let fate take on its toll and go with the flow; even an ill girl like her can still be so carefree.
“Flight 97 is now boarding, Flight 97 is now boarding” the loud voice boomed inside Mia ears inviting her into the airplane that will be taking her to Seoul, the home of her beloved idols. She took a deep breath, stood up and walked towards the gate with her luggage just behind her leg. Her heart was beating furiously as she handed the lady her passport and ticket and headed for the plane.
‘I’m coming Seoul, I’m coming DBSK…I’m coming JaeJoong’ Mia thought.

“You did good guys! Dinner’s served!” The manager praised them all when the only person who actually clean was JaeJoong, the rest of them got too intrigued on reading their fan mail. TVXQ sat around the table and began to dig in.
“Hyung was that girl a stalker?” Junsu asked Yunho
“I think so, because that was freaky message!” Yunho shuddered as her replied
“What did it say?” Changmin asked
“Something about ‘I want to have you babies, even 25 of them’ freaky huh? I wasn’t actually serious when I said I wanted 25 kids…”
The members just looked at him with their eyebrows cocked clearly not convinced, but Yunho shook it off and continued eating.
*Ring. Ring.* JaeJoong’s phone rang and he dropped his chopsticks to go check it out. He looked at the caller ID and got up rudely to take it.
“Yah, who do you think JaeJoong’s talking to?” Yoochun asked
“I don’t know, he’s been hiding stuff from us…” Changmin answered and they watched JaeJoong talk on the phone by his bedroom door.

~The Next day~
After 16 hours of flight, Mia finally got to Seoul.
‘I’m finally here…’ she thought. Mia went off to fetch her luggage in the conveyor belt and walked towards the arrival area; she spotted a man with her name on a name plate and went to him.
“Excuse me, I’m Park Mia” she gracefully said
“Yes miss, follow me.” The man took her luggage and led her to a black tinted car just outside the entrance, Mia breathed in the fresh Korean air and it felt good, she almost thought that her heart was already healed. Mia got inside the car and her hands began to sweat, she couldn’t stop playing with her fingers and fussing with her hair.
After a few minutes they arrived, she looked outside her window to see the official DBSK apartment. The driver opened the door for her and she stepped out cautiously.
“Here you go miss” the driver rolled her luggage by her side and looked up.
“Park Mia?” the manager popped out from the apartment entrance to welcome her.
“Yes…” she shook hands with the man that granted her last and foremost wish.
“Now, the guys are upstairs, you should consider yourself lucky because I don’t do this very often. I told them that you’re my niece and you will be staying in our guest room that they gladly cleaned out just for you. You ready?” he asked and you nodded.
*Ting* the elevator went
“Were here… deep breaths” he chuckled
Mia trembled while she walked behind him pulling your luggage; he halted to a stop and got out his keys to open the door. The door squeaked and the pace of Mia’s heart increased. The manager opened the door and Yunho’s head popped out with a goofy smile. ‘He’s even more attractive in person’ she thought and you couldn’t help but smile back.
He opened the door wider to reveal the rest of DBSK, you rolled in and breathed deeply.
“My niece…Mia, Meet DBSK”
