THIRD PERSON

“I’m glad that you’re okay now” A woman in her late 60’s said. Seohyun just nodded her head twice. She tried to recall what happened but there was nothing. She’s still wearing her school uniform though her socks were changed.

“I-is someone with me… ?” She asked politely. The woman just smiled as she sat beside her. She held seohyun’s hand.

“No dear… you were alone when I found you, get some more rest… I’ll just bring you food when dinners cooked.” The old lady went off the room. Seohyun sighed as she placed her hand in her forehead.

“What happened really?” She closed her eyes firmly, trying to remember what happened…

“That tonic drink… why was it inside my bag? And why on earth did I drink it?”

         *flashback*

 

Kai stopped the car in front of the gas station, he wasn’t fully aware that seohyun went inside the convenient store to buy something to drink. She was looking for her favourite beverage when suddenly a lady bumped into her. Their groceries got messed up.

 

Seohyun saw kai starting the engine of the car and so she hurriedly picked up a bottle and bought it at the counter. She slide it inside her sling bag and went inside the car.

 

 

She was drinking the beverage every time the car stops, she didn’t even read what was written… or rather should I say that she wasn’t aware of what she was taking in.

 

 

            *End flashback*

“okay… that was weird… if I was with kai then… wait a minute” she heard someone shouting outside the door. She quickly stood up and placed her ear to eavesdrop…

“BUT GRANDMAAAAA, I barely knew this girl and yet you want me to entertain her? SERIOUSLY?” she squints her eyes as she placed her ear closer. She knows that his voice was… utterly familiar

“Then get out. And don’t you dare come back young man” Seohyun heard him whine as she felt the door knob being twisted. She went back to the bed and covered her face with the blanket.

“Sigh… I know you’re not sleeping, I heard your panicked steps… so get up and we’ll eat dinner. No buts no drama’s just come.” She was slowly removing the blanket covering her face… but then he took the edge of the blanket and took it by surprise.

Both of them were taken aback making them scream.

“What the hell!! Why are you here?!” Seohyun was fuming mad, she began throwing pillows at him, he raise his arms above his head forming a shield

“stop it! You’re so childish Seohyun.”

“Oh so now im the CHILDISH ONE, well who among us is playing tricks on two girls?” Seohyun was still throwing pillows at him.

“well then… here’s something in return!” Luhan took pillows and started throwing it at hers; laughter filled the room as everything turned into a mess. As a result of the pillow fight both of them took a nap side by side as the rain poured and thunders roared. She made him a giant pillow, hugging him so tightly, causing luhan to wake up.

He smiled as he looked at her. He wrapped his arm around her bringing them closer together. He pressed his lips lightly on her forehead… just as then he remembered…

“Crap… its dinner.”

“What?” She muttered. Luhan’s cheeks went beet red… he just kissed her forehead and SHE WAS ACTUALLY AWAKE.

“I-I said it’s dinner, ha-ha” Seohyun smiled as they both went up to their feet. They went to the dining area wherein most of seohyun’s favourite foods were cooked. Is it really by chance… or what?

“you guys eat… im done eating already, just finish eating and leave the plates. Arasso?” The old lady said. They both nodded and began nudging their foods. There was an awkward dead air. Unlike earlier

“what happens in the room stays there... I just reconsidered you as a token of appreciation to your grandma…” seohyun said.

“what do you mean?” Luhan asked. Seohyun eyed him and grabbed his wrist. She moved her face closely to him and whispered…

“we’ll talk outside.” Seohyun took the lead, they sat at the hanging sofa at the veranda. Seohyun rested her head in his shoulders. He was quite not sure of what was happening.

“what now?” he said awkwardly.

“Act sweet to me you dimwit… can’t you see… this is all a set up by our parents… and now your grandma’s involved.”

“what?”

“I said…. We’re both set up. Its your fault, if you didn’t gave my dad an idea then he wont be dragging me to his world.”

“Seriously what are you talking about?” he hissed as she clings to him and held his hand.

“We’re being televised… I noticed a camera attached to the wall clock and several things around my room… I also noticed the peculiar vase which surely has a hidden camera. And right now, that plant on your left has also a hidden camera… one freaking wrong move and they’ll know that this is all just pretend.” A smile was formed in his lips.

“so honey… I really missed you… don’t you ever do that to me, my honey baby loves.” He said wrapping his arms around her once more.

Seohyun faked a laugh as she was hitting luhan’s chest in a playful manner.

“Don’t enjoy this Jerk” she hissed

“just so you know, we’re already finished… you said it yourself’

“I know… but please, let’s just pretend for one night… let’s pretend that nothing’s changed.”

Kai’s POV

“oh my god… is it true, is she missing for reals?” one of the school girls said. I was flabbergasted, I don’t know what to do next, I’ve been searching the whole compound, asking a lot of people if they had seen seohyun somewhere but what do I get… NOTHING

“will I be asking if she’s not? Tsk. Pardon me but I need to go” I said irritably

“O-oh… then can I atleast get your number so uh… I can update you whenever I find her.” Gosh GIRLS. These damned girls, can’t they see that I’m freaking busy looking for her… I don’t know how it happens; it was just all sudden that SHE WENT MISSING.

All I knew is that I left her alone in her room to rest while I was cooking at the kitchen, but the next thing I knew is that she was just GONE. I searched around the rest house but nothing… I tried calling her phone but then she left it at her room… and the worse is. She’s under the control of a tonic drink.

I won’t forgive myself if something happens to her. Its all my fault. I should have had brought her home instead of bringing her in our rest house. I was being so selfish and yet this is what I get… damn this life. It was a minute or two when the heavy rain started pouring… double crap! I literally need to find her now. What if she gets sick?

In her condition… she won’t last this kind of rain. I ran back and forth, looking for her at the every corner. BUT SHE’S NOWHERE TO BE FOUND…

I was slowly losing my breath…I think I’ve reached another compound… I’m not familiar with this place… until I caught something written in a big gate. The Chinese characters of the name Xi

Could it be possible? Is it possible that somehow… she’s here, and she’s with him. I felt a sudden thug inside my chest. I opened the gate slowly and the first thing I saw was Luhan’s car. My legs just got numb as I was dumbfounded… a timid smile formed from my lips.

Even though she’s so distant from me… I can see her face smiling at him. Looking from a far… she’s like an unreachable star, the way she moves around… her simples gestures makes my heart fall to the ground. She affects the every single aspects of me… her every move can only result two things… which is flattery and heartbreak.

And right now… I’m having the best heartbreak… I can clearly see my best friend falling… she may not see it yet, but I know… I can tell what she feels inside of her… I can feel that she’s happier when she’s with him. It’s because that’s the mere feeling that I get whenever I’m with her.   

Tears brimmed out from my eyes… it cause I cant go to her… I can’t tell her to just be with me… I can’t tell her that—after all… I just did all of this to let her experience what it feels like to have someone who’ll love her more that she loves herself… It’s because I know that one day, everything will change.

But then again, Seo Joohyun… there’s nothing you can do to restrict me from loving you… I’ve waited three long years just to be with you again… and expect that I wont be leaving your side till the end.

“saranghae” I slowly turned around and walked away… im just glad that… Finally… a reason to turn away…

 

After 4 consecutive months of not updating.... I finally did!!

Im actually graduating this year so.... I better get serious, cause if not then... ahahahhahaha
