Purchasing the title track through Soribada English is the only way International ELF can directly impact Korean digital charts, although sadly the impact is only about 5%. If possible, we still recommend buying through this site because every small effort counts.

1. Go to http://kpop.soribada.com/En/ and click login. You will need both a credit card and a Paypal account to complete this tutorial.

2. You will need to look through a big list to find Super Junior’s picture. You might also need to click “View Artist All” if they aren’t on the first page. Then, click their picture.

3. Clicking on their picture will take you to this page. Click “Albums”.

4. Click on the picture of the album you wish to purchase. We are using SPY as an example — you will click on the picture of the 7th Album.

5. Now you can choose to buy the full album or just the title track. It is enough to buy just the title track — it will still count for digital sales.

6. A box will pop up to confirm your purchase decision.

7. You must enter your email address, then choose your method of payment. The information you input now is only for verification, the purchase will not be charged to your account now.

8. Input your credit card information. If you are from the USA or Canada you must also tell your state/province.

9. You will then need to review your information. Make sure it is correct!

10. You will now need to login using your Paypal account. This might seem strange, but you will only be charged once, this is just to verify your information again.

11. Finally, review your information one last time and click “Pay Now”. Your account should only be charged once in this process. Now you are finished. ^^

Registering on Mnet allows you to stream music using mplayer, vote for SJ for M! Countdown, vote for MAMA at the end of the year, and vote for different polls they open. Here we describe how to register on Mnet Korea using (A) Email, (B) Twitter, and (C) Facebook. We recommend using all methods to have the greatest impact per person.

For all the registration methods, you will need to be sure you are at the Mnet Korea site. To begin, go to http://mnet.interest.me/. If you are redirected to Mnet Global or another Mnet site (check url.. you want it to say mnet.interest.me), scroll to the very bottom of the page and select “Mnet Korea”.

A: Register with Email

This method works better if you are using Firefox or Internet Explorer web browsers.

1. Start registration by clicking as indicated.

2. Choose to register using your email address.

3. Tick the boxes (not pictured) to agree to the terms & conditions and the privacy policy. Then fill in your information at the bottom of the page.

4. Make sure you have entered the correct email address, then send the confirmation email. You should then find an email from Mnet in your inbox (if not, check your spam folder), which will let you verify your account. Now you are ready to stream the title track and vote for SJ!

Olleh can be used by international ELF to stream music. If you have a Korean credit card and ID number you can also purchase music from this site. Since streaming counts for Korean digital charts, sites that ALL ELF can access should be considered very important! Information on how to stream through Olleh will be posted later, but now is the time to prepare by creating an account.

Keep reading to find out how to register for this website!

1. Go to http://www.ollehmusic.com/. Click as indicated at top right to start registration.

2. Choose to sign in using either Facebook or Twitter (we recommend Twitter).

3. If you choose Twitter login, the next stage it will ask for authorization. Click “Authorize app”.

4. You will be redirected to a page asking for you to choose a nickname. Make sure to check your nickname is available or it won’t let you proceed.

When you clicked to verify your nickname is available, you want to see this box popup. Click “예” to confirm nickname.

Then click the button at the bottom of the screen where you enter your nickname to proceed.

5. The final step is to agree to all terms and conditions. Tick the boxes on the left and finish by clicking the red button at the bottom.

6. You’re done! You may have to repeat this a few times before it will understand to automatically log you in, but eventually it should work. Now you’re ready to stream SJ’s title track ^^

5% of the score on Inkigayo comes from votes using their exclusive mobile app. As ELF are weak with digital sales, it is crucial that we dominate in all other areas of the scoring in order to ensure Super Junior wins on music shows.

To register, you will need to have a scanned copy of your personal government-issued ID card (for example a country ID card or driving licence). You may also use your passport, but we highly recommend finding an alternative ID if possible.

1. Using Internet Explorer or Firefox web browsers (others are not guaranteed to work), go to http://w3.sbs.co.kr/main.do and click on the left to start registration.

2. If you are not living in Korea, you will need to register as a foreigner.

3. Now you need to check “Agree” to the terms & conditions as well as the privacy policy. Then click the blue button.

4. Now write your personal information. It must match the information on your ID card. Check the ID you choose (this is your username) by clicking the button beside it. At this point you must also upload the scan of your ID.

To upload the scan of your ID, click “Find” then “Browse” when the box pictured below pops up. Click the blue button to confirm the upload.

5. At the very end, click “Submit”. In 24 hours SBS will send you an email to confirm your account, then you are finished!

Important: iTunes does not count toward Korean charts in any way. Downloading from iTunes does not directly support Super Junior in terms of Korean music show or year-end awards……However…. there are a few reasons we include this tutorial.

1. Majority of ELF do not live in Korea & cannot buy digitally from sites that count for K-charts.
2. Physical copy of album takes some time to arrive, but ELF might want to listen to the album as soon as it is released.
3. As we can see from articles released about Big Bang‘s, SNSD‘s, and 2NE1‘s success on iTunes & charts that reflect iTunes sales, success on this international scale is seen as especially prestigious and brings more positive attention to the group.
4. Therefore, it is better for those ELF who want to buy the album as soon as it is released to all use the same site, instead of small local sites in their own country. This increases our power and shows the global influence of Super Junior more clearly.

So: If you ordered a physical album but can’t wait to listen, and don’t have access to sites that contribute to Korean charts, we suggest purchasing from iTunes.

[Tutorial] How to create a Paypal

Paypal is the easiest way to send money online. You can use it to purchase a physical album directly, or through a fanbase. You can also use it to send donations to support Super Junior’s 7jib comeback.

Click through for a tutorial on how to create a Paypal. Keep in mind that the site is different in different countries, and in some cases you will require a credit card in order to create an account.

1. Go to https://www.paypal.com/ and click “sign up”

2. Choose to create a personal account.

3. Choose your country, and enter your email address.

4. Enter your personal information as found on an official document like your passport or national ID.

5. Choose to create an account using either your bank account information or credit card details. These options may differ from country to country — in some cases, you may only enter credit card information.

6a. If you choose to create an account using your bank account information, the next screen is as follows. Enter your information as indicated.

6b. If you choose to create an account using your credit card, you will be asked to enter your card information instead.

7. You will now be asked to activate your account by following a link in an email. Remember to check your spam/junk folder if you don’t receive the email within a few minutes of creating your account.

8. Now you are ready to support Super Junior’s 7jib comeback by purchasing an album! To send money you simply log in, click the “Send money” tab near the top of the page, and fill in the sender information.

MelOn is the equivalent of iTunes in Korea, and downloading + streaming from this site counts up to 50% on Korean charts for music show awards, so it is very important. International fans can make MelOn IDs to help with streaming.

Read more to find out how to register, so you can be ready once 7jib is released.

1. Go to http://melon.com/ and click on link indicated to start registration.

2. The next page asks you to agree to terms & conditions. Do this by ticking the box by the number 1, then click the green button at the bottom to go to the next step.

3. Now you just need to fill in your information. Your name should be in only lowercase and without spaces, so “Choi Siwon” should be written “choisiwon” in this case. Make sure you verify by clicking the boxes on the right of the form.

4. Now you need to verify your account using email. Enter your email address, then click the button to the right to send an email to that address. Email could go to your spam folder, so check there! Enter the code from the email into the next box, and click to verify. Finally, prove you are a real person, and click the green button to complete registration.

5. You are finished! Make sure things work properly by logging into your new account.

You need an Apple ID to make purchases on iTunes. If you wish to buy SJ’s 7th album as soon as it is released digitally while you wait for your physical copy, we suggest to use iTunes. This way all ELF focus on the same international digital site rather than spreading our impact to less important sites.

Important: If you are comfortable, we recommend trying to create an ID for iTunes USA. Purchases from US iTunes count directly toward the Billboard 200 chart, a very prestigious chart that would help SJ’s international reputation. If you want to try to help in this way, please skip directly to Part 2 of these instructions.

If you don’t feel comfortable, please just follow Part 1 to make an iTunes account in your own region. Purchases will still help SJ on global iTunes charts.

Part 1: how to create an account for your region

1. Go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click “create an Apple ID”

2. Fill in all your information accurately. You can also untick the boxes “Apple News and Announcements” & “New on iTunes and Other iTunes Offers” if you don’t wish to receive newsletters from Apple. At the end, click the blue button at the bottom.

3. Once you click “Create Apple ID” you will see a window asking you to verify your email address.

4. Go to the email you added and click “Verify now”. You will be directed to a page asking for your Apple ID (this is the email address you used to create the account) and the password you made up in Step 3. Input these, and you are finished!

Part 2: how to create a US iTunes account if you do not live in the USA

Note: if you are not from the US, you will need to use a gift card to make purchases on the US iTunes. We will explain where to buy these online below, but note that they only come in USD10, USD15, etc amounts so it might make the album cost a little bit more.

1. Go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click “create an Apple ID”

2. To fill in the personal information, you first need to generate an accurate US mailing address. To do this, go to http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/, make sure the options selected are “American” and “United States” (you make choose the gender), then click “Generate”.

You will need to use the name and mailing address you have just generated.

3. Now go back to the Apple ID information and fill it out. Be careful: use the fake generated name & address (as circled in step 2) to fill out this information, but do not use the email address! Use your own email address or you won’t be able to verify the account. Also, make sure there is not an Apple ID associated with your email already (make a new email if this is the case). Please follow the images below carefully.

For your name, use the name you created on the namegenerator site.

4. Once you click “Create Apple ID” you will see a window asking you to verify your email address.

5. Go to the email you added and click “Verify now”. You will be directed to a page asking for your Apple ID (this is the email address you used to create the account) and the password you made up in Step 3. Input these, and you are finished!

6. To purchase an album on the US iTunes store you first need to buy a US iTunes Gift Card. You cannot buy a gift card in your country and use in the US iTunes store. Go to https://usgiftcodes.com/ to buy using either a credit card or paypal. When you purchase the card you will receive a code in your email that will allow you to redeem the card at the iTunes store.

7. Sign into the iTunes store using your US iTunes Apple ID (the email you used to make the account on US iTunes).

8. To redeem the card go to “Home” (the house symbol in the top bar) on the iTunes store, then on the right side look for the bar that says “Quick Links” and click “Redeem”.

9. Then just write the code you received in your email in the box provided, and click “Redeem”. Now the money from the gift card is in your US iTunes account and you can use it to purchase Super Junior’s 7th Album!
