Chapter 3 Part 1
My Ten Letters To You
“Wow, how fast.”
Onew said to Key who was telling his love story with Jonghyun.
“I know, but I guess I should at least give it a try and after all, I’ve been waiting for this moment that I know would never happened...but it did!”
Onew gave Key a happy but concerned look.
“Key, I know you’re very happy, but please, please, PLEASE be careful. I don’t wanna see you cry.”
“Hyung, I trust you but I also trust Jonghyun. He’s my best friend.”
“And now, he’s your boyfriend. Sometimes, you don’t have to trust him, you can’t trust love, but you can only trust life.”
Key went silent because of what his hyung said. Onew’s seriousness happens only once or twice a year. He didn’t take Onew’s advice that serious, because he was for the first time, in love.
Key was never in a relationship before because he always believed that it would never last. But his friends always say that Key doesn’t go into relationships because he’s scared of getting hurt. That is what Onew worries about the most.
“Yeobo, I’ve been looking for you.”
Jonghyun kissed Key on the cheek. Jjong found him on the library sitting near a large window, reading a book.
Key stared at him for a while and then kissed Jjong on the cheek as well.
“How long have we been dating again?”
Key asked Jonghyun.
“Yeobo, you know I don’t count...”
“We’ve been dating for five months already...”
“Five months!? Wow, I’ve been enjoying so much with you that I didn’t notice that...”
Jonghyun said to Key while looking at the ring he gave him.
“ Yeobo, let’s go to the field.”
Key stood up and returned the book and they both went to the field.
While on their way to their usual spot, Jonghyun held Key’s hands tightly. He then stood in front of him.
“Key, do you love me?”
“Y-yeah...Why?”
Key was quite insecure about saying those three words. People are around them. He doesn’t wanna let them know. But even so, the whole campus knows about their relationship anyway.
“ I want you to say it, Key. Please, Yeobo..”
Jonghyun caressed Key’s face and he felt a little breeze. They were really in love. But moreover, Jjong was more affectionate.
“ Saranghae... Jeongmal Saranghae....”
Key pulled Jonghyun closer and they kissed. Key’s mind went blank once he said those words and let his heart control his body. People saw them kiss, and they were soon to be the next talk of the school. But Key didn’t care. Neither did Jonghyun. For them, love had no boundaries. They were in love and that’s not a bad thing.
