Hyerin's eyes slowly opened when she heard loud banging on her dorm room's door.  She was hoping that she was only dreaming, but when she heard his panicked voice, Hyerin knew this was not a dream.

Rinnie are you awake. 

There were more loud knocks.

It is really important.

Please open the door.

Hyerin sighed deeply as her vision finally became clear, but when she tried to get out of bed, Hyerin was pulled back into the chest of Kim Sunggyu.  Her face turned towards the sleeping man in her bed, and it hit her.  Sunggyu had appeared at her window late last night and once again confessed his feelings to her before they ended up kissing, again.

"Sunggyu…" She whispered as she shook him to wake up. "Sunggyu, wake up." No matter how much she asked him to wake up, he still would not budge.

"Five more minutes…" Sunggyu snuggled closer to Hyerin, not wanting to be away from her.  He finally felt at ease. 

"Yahh!" Hyerin pushed Sunggyu off her bed with a loud thug.

Rinnie are you alright?

Open this door!

Sunggyu sat up and rubbed his shoulder and glared at Hyerin.  He could not believe the girl pushed him off of the bed to wake him up, "What was…"

"I'm not decent Dongwoo…" Hyerin yelled.

I have seen you at your worse, are you sure you are alight?

"I'm fine, I just fell out of my bed.  There is nothing you need to worry about." Hyerin lied. "I will meet you in the café in fifteen minutes."

Ok, but if you are not there in fifteen minutes, I am breaking this door down.

Hyerin heard Dongwoo's footsteps disappear and she looked at Sunggyu who was sitting on the ground, rubbing his arm.

"Sorry…"

"It's alright!" Sunggyu smiled weakly, and wondered why she did not tell Dongwoo that he was in here. Weren't they best friends who told each other everything? What was she so scared of? "You know you should not be lying to Dongwoo?"

"I am not lying to him, I am just not telling him the full truth."

"That is still lying Hyerin." Sunggyu sighed as he looked at the girl with a gentle smile.

"I will tell him everything later, but my gut tells me that he already knows." Hyerin bit her lip, and decided to change the subject. "Are you feeling better? You seemed upset last night?"

"I am always upset. It is something that I have become accustom to.  I had to, I am not allowed to show my feelings when I am around my father.  He has drilled many things into my head since I was a small child."

"That is something that you should never get used to Sunggyu, and hiding your feelings is not healthy." Hyerin kneeled down in front of him placing her hands on his cheeks. "Your happiness is important!" She could not believe Sunggyu's father manipulated him for so long.  Hyerin knew Sunggyu's father was horrible, but she thought it was just an act, to keep people away from his son.

"Do you want to know what makes me happy?"Sunggyu leaned closer to Hyerin's face, ignoring her concern for his health. "You!"

"What?"

"I said I am my happiest when I am around you. I know I did not show it before, but it is only because I was hiding my true feelings because I was afraid. Everyone I ever get close to always abandons me or ends up hating me. Did you know that Woohyun and I were best friends when we were younger.  My father did not like him,  he thought Woohyunnie was a bad influence on me because I became interested in music because of him."

"I am not going to abandoned you, Sunggyu.  I am so sorry that your father broke your friendships with Woohyun."  Hyerin now understand why Woohyun hated Sunggyu so much,  it was all because of Sunggyu's father.

"How could I be so sure?"

"Because…" Hyerin bit her lip, she did not know how she was going to tell Sunggyu this, "Because I have strong feelings for you that I cannot fight off anymore.  I promise I will not abandon you no matter what, but you have to promise me something in return."

"Anything for you."

"Please don't hurt me....  I have been hurt many times in the past, I am scared of giving my heart to someone because every time I do, I lose them."

"I will do everything in my power to make sure I never hurt you.  That is the last thing I want to do."  Sunggyu placed a hand on her cheak, "I will protect you from harm. Even if I have to put my life endanger for you." Sunggyu leaned in closer to Hyerin's face, until their lips were inches apart. "I promise you Hyerin." 

Hyerin closed the gap between their lips.
