Three years earlier…

Hyerin was in an empty classroom alone.  Why today of all days did she have to have clean up duty.  Hyerin sighed deeply as she started to fix the desk, returning to their proper locations.  She sighed deeply and knew that the next task that she needed to tackled was cleaning the windows.  Hyerin was not looking forward to that.

Dongwoo's girlfriend was supposed to be on cleaning duty with her, but once again the obnoxious girl decided not to show up. She did not understand what Dongwoo saw in her. She was to clingy and had a bad attitude towards her. Hyerin knew that it was because of her close relationship with Dongwoo. She tried not to do skinship with Dongwoo, but it was difficult when he is the initiator.

Not many students know that she lives with the Jang's. Not many people know what she has been through. Only a few close friends know that truth and Dongwoo's girlfriend. She found out when she came over one night for dinner, and saw her eating dinner with Dongwoo's family. The girl demanded an explanation from him.  Dongwoo had to explain everything to her and she understood, but in reality she did not like it. That is when the bullying started.  Dongwoo's girlfriend's bullying is brutal.

Hyerin sighed deeply and took off her uniform jacket. It was getting to warm in here. She grabbed onto a chair and pulled it over to the window.  Hyerin got up on the chair and started to clean the windows.

"Dongwoo, can we go on a date today?" His girlfriend, Dasom asked as she grabbed onto his arm.  She was so happy that he was finally spending time with her.  Dasom did not understand why her Dongwoo was always around Hyerin.  She knew that she was living with Dongwoo's family because of her parents dying when she was younger, but that is not a good excuse for that sly to steal her boyfriend.

"Today is not a good day Dasom ahh." Dongwoo says as he placed a hand on Dasom head and played with her hair.  He was trying to comfort her and make the girl feel better about herself.  She always seemed upset lately.

"You always say that!" She said as she pushed Dongwoo away and crossed her arms.  He was probably going to spend time with her again.  Dasom Did not even see what was so special about her.

"Today really is not a good day. I promise to make it up to you tomorrow." Dongwoo said as he looked at his girlfriend.

"Fine, but you are going to do everything I want tomorrow even if you do not like it." Dasom with her arms crossed.

"Ok, tomorrow I am all yours." He leaned on and kissed her on the cheek. He watched his girlfriend walk away and Dongwoo ran back towards the school. Today was a day that Hyerin should not be alone. Today was the day that it happened. The day the car crash happened when she was seven. Dongwoo entered the room and noticed Hyerin was up on a chair cleaning the windows.  He sighed deeply and placed his bag down on the ground.
