Second Chance at Love-25-
Hyerin was sitting on a bench in the quad of the university thinking about the question she asked Sunggyu, still being unanswered. How hard was it to answer a simple question of his change in personality. He was a nice jerk. Heyrin bit her lip and got lost I her thoughts. She did not even realize someone had approached her.
Hoya smiled when he saw Hyering alone. He was so happy that his step=brother was not bothering her again. The man placed his hands in his jacket's pocket as he walked over to where she was sitting. His thoughts went straight last night. The girl put Hoya through a lot of stress. Dongwoo was very worried and it got irritating. Hoya knew why Dongwoo was so worried, the two knew each other since they were born. Hoya bit his lip as he came to a stop at the back of the bench, and rested his hand she was leaning. He leaned forward near her ear and blew on it, "Hyerin ahhh."
Hyerin jumped and her head hit the Hoya's nose. She turned around and found Hoya sitting on the ground behind the bench she was sitting on. "Hoya, I'm sorry...." She hurried over to him and placed a hand on his wrist pulling it away from his nose. She was so happy that he was not bleeding. "I did not...um...I mean, you scared me."
Hoya chuckled, Hyerin was cute when she stumbled over her words. "You don’t have to be sorry, it's my fault. I should not have sneak up on you like that. Is your head alright?" Hoya asked as he placed the hand that Hyerin was not holding onto on top of her head.
A blush appeared on her face, "I'm fine..." She looked into Hoya's eyes and looked away moments later. Why were they making things so hard for her.
"Are you sure?" Hoya asked with a concern tone it his voice. It has only been two and a half weeks since Hyerin's concussion. Hoya knew concussions took some time to heal. He watched Hyerin closely as she released his wrist and stood up. Hoya followed in her suit. "You know Dongwoo was going crazy last night. We even went out to look for you and..."
"And what?" Hyerin asked as she looked at Hoya, curious about what he was going to ask her. Hyerin bit her lip not understanding why her vision was blurring. She shook off the feeling and looked at Hoya once again, but her vision blurred once again. She felt like there was a not in her stomach and all Hyerin wanted to do right now was go to sleep.
"Nevermind..." Hoya sighed deeply when he noticed that Hyerin's eyes were dilated. He watched her closely, if she fell, Hoya was prepared to catch her. "Do you want me to walk you to class?"
"No, I will be fine." Hyerin said as she turned around, letting her dizziness take of. Hyerin fell forward, but she never hit the ground. Hoya caught her around her waist and pulled her into his chest. She felt his warm breath against her neck.
"Aish..." Hoya said as he suddenly picked the girl up in his arms, carrying her bridal style. "You are not fine..." Hoya said as he started to walk towards the infirmary of the school. He knew that she was still hurt, but still insisted on doing a million things at once. Her job, her school work, journalism club, the list goes on.
"Hoya...please put me down..." Hyerin said as she noticed a bunch of girls glaring at her. She knew these girls were jealous. They were always jealous of her friendships with Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, and Hoya in the past, but for different reason. In the past Woohyun was popular with the ladies because he treated them so nicely, and he was less arrogant. She wondered where this arrogance came from, as for Dongwoo, he is always a bundle of joy. Girls like his kind personality and he always comes to everyone's aid.
Hoya and Sunggyu were a different story. Hoya was every girls dream man, captain of the soccer team, good grades, and amazing looks. He has one of the best bodies in school, Hyerin knew, she had already seen his body. That was something that she could not get out a her mind. Hyerin blushed just thinking about it. As for Sunggyu, that man is and will always be a true mystery to her. He was always hiding behind glasses and a book. He was cold, but then he was nice and a true gentleman.
"Hyerin..." Hoya called her name as he placed her on one of the beds in the infirmary. "Hyerin." Hoya called her name again and placed a hand on the bed, near where she was sitting. "Song Hyerin..." He said as he lessened the spaced between them.
Sungyeol appeared behind Hoya in a gust of feathers with a playful smirk on his lips. Things were moving to slow for his liking and he had to do something about it. He was never going to gain his wings at this rate. Sungyeol gave Hoya a push and disappeared moments later.
Hoya fell forward and he could not catch himself in time. His lips pressed gently against Hyerin's soft lips. Hoya's hand just naturally went to her cheek, and pulled away moments later. He looked into Hyerin's eyes and wondered if it registered to her yet, all she was doing was stare at her. "Hyerin..."
"You kissed me..."
"I'm sorry. I lost my balance." Hoya said as he removed his hand from her cheek and stood up. He could feel his cheeks heating up.
"Don't worry about it." Hyerin looked at Hoya with a flushed face. "I know it did not mean anything." Hyerin said as she started to avoid Hoya's eyes. She could not look at him for some reason. Hyerin had a feeling that Sungyeol had something to do with this. She though
