It’s weirdly peaceful out there at the beach. No party on the other side and it’s obviously still silent on this part closest to our house. I am looking at the window when Taemin enters back the house. I don’t say anything, I just wait until he comes out of the room again with just a pair of shorts and a towel hanging on his shoulder. He pauses when he notices me looking at him. “I’ll go swimming.” Before I can even nod, he already starts walking out of the house again.

I look at the clock. It’s 9 in the evening. For the rest of the day, Taemin has spent all his time outside while I spent it in our room, still devastated of everything I did the other night.

Few minutes later, I see Taemin walking towards the water. It’s dark outside, and aside from the light that is coming from the house, the only thing that could illuminate him from the water is the moon. I haven’t noticed the moon until now. It’s so bright, and unusually bigger than how I normally see it in Korea.

He stops when the water reaches chest deep of him. Taemin stares up as he probably notices the moon as well. He stands there motionlessly and suddenly, I remember I’ve seen some foreign movie with this kind of scene. And on that movie, the girl actually followed the guy to the water, and then they made love.

But it’s impossible in our case. He hates me, and who knows? Maybe if I go there with him, he’ll just drown me into the water. That’s very far from the scene on that movie I used to watch several years ago.

However, this is my last resort. If I don’t do anything tonight, then the rest of the vacation will really be ruined. I don’t want to sleep through this night with him still hating on me. I want us to be good and together again.

So though I’m so far from being that Bella from The Breaking Dawn, I still have to try my luck and think that Taemin can also be my Edward Cullen.

I go back to the room, open my luggage to get something that I bought the day after the party at Taemin’s company where I wore the black dress he chose for me. At that time, I went to shop with a friend, and she kinda pushed me to buy this pair of pink two-piece bikini. I never talked about this to anyone since then.

And I’m not so sure why I brought this here, but maybe, now’s the time to use this.

I swallow a couple of times trying to assure myself that I will really do it. I did well last night, did I? I was able to walk confidently out there with other people and I was just wearing that swimsuit. I think I can do it 2^nd time around, and besides, it’s just Taemin and I. It’s less embarrassing.

But won’t he hate me more with this? He said not to wear such revealing outfit. He said not to be too exposed, but I’m here wearing another pair of swimsuit. Will he shout at me again saying that I’m such a hypocrite for reacting so offensively at the sight of his mother’s gift, but I have my own bikini in fact?

Come on, Rae In! You used to be the girl who does things without thinking about them so much. Just do this!

I’m standing just few meters away from him now. He hasn’t realized my presence, and just like how I saw him earlier, he is still looking at the moon, adoring it.

Gently, I drop the robe to the sand. My body shivers from the sudden contact with the cold breeze. I take few deep breathes. This is actually more knee-shaking than what I did last night.

Slowly, with heartbeats that I can almost hear, I make my way to the water, to be beside him. He is innocent of the things I’m about to do, but right now I don’t care. I just want him back to me in any way possible. Wow. I never thought I’ll be this desperate to keep a man, but it’s Lee Tae Min. He’s the only one I want.

Finally, I reach his side. He glances up quickly at me, and I know his eyes grow wider, but I just keep my eyes up to the moon. “Wh-what…”

“That moon is the second most beautiful sight I’ve seen since I got here.” I say while trying so hard not to have my voice shake. “The most beautiful thing is right here beside me.” I look at him, all the nervousness and the fear I had since I walked here were suddenly gone. As I’m facing him, I’m determined to just be forgiven.

I face him, eyes not leaving his. He turns his body opposite to mine as well, and for some seconds, I just had to stare at him before speaking again. “Please, just…”

“You can’t find any way to ask for forgiveness so you end up seducing me? Do you really think I’ll be blown enough to give in?”

Ouch. That hurts. I can’t say anything, so I just end up bowing my head, looking at the reflection of the moon on the water.

I once again shiver when I feel a pair of arms wrapping themselves around my waist. I look up, only to meet with his peaceful expression, very much different than how he looks few seconds ago before I looked down. He pulls me closer to him. My bare stomach being hugged by his arms.

“Last night, I felt all sorts of emotions that I thought I’d never feel at the same time.” He speaks slowly and in such a low tone. “I’m so mad, so jealous, so scared, and… so frustrated.”

“Taemin-ah…”

“Shh…” He hushes me and continues talking. “I’m so mad that you didn’t listen to me and you went there without letting me know, so jealous because it felt like someone can have you at that moment and it wasn’t me, so scared because I imagined you getting hooked up by those guys if I didn’t come to get you, and I’m so frustrated because as soon as we got home, I wanted to own you to remind you that you only belong to me… ugh, Song Rae In, why are you do-“

I lose my mind when I heard him saying that he wants to own me, so right at that moment, I just reach for his lips and kissed him. I’m not really a pro when it comes to this, but I just let all my emotions pour down and dominate me. I want him. I crave for him.

Then I remember, I felt his lips last night as well.

“You… you kissed me last night… in front of them.” I say as I pull myself from him for a while. He nods, and quickly claims my lips once again.

I just felt that there’s no more distance between us. Our bodies touching. His arms tightly wrapped around me. My arms are around his neck, trying to pull him even closer despite being the closest to me already. He suddenly squeezes my back and I almost jumped, which gives him the chance to carry me now.

“Let’s take this off.” He speaks as he looks up to me and when I’m about to complain, I suddenly felt the hook of my bra unclasping.

“Taemin!” I scream but he just chuckles, and then I see that piece of cloth just floating on the water. He is still carrying me, his face in between my bare chest now. “Taemin, we’re outside!”

“Honestly, tell me, did you go there last night because you want to be like them and you think I like those kind of people? Are you trying to change yourself just so you can fit my standard?”

Shyly, I nod.

“Babe, you exceed my standard, stop lowering your level.” He says and lets out a loud chuckle again. “I love you and I respect you so much.”

“Stop respecting me.” I say like a child, even pouting.

“Which I did, just now.” He winks at me, and I remember that I don’t have anything covering my top! “This is going to be your punishment for disappointing me last night.”

“What punishment?!”

“I’m going to stop respecting you from now on.” He laughs and tightly hugs me again, which allow me to actually cover my s, but damn, my bare chests is against his bare body. He feels me so bare and I feel so !

We walk out of the water. “Taemin, my bra!” I scream in panic but he only laughs, still hugging me so tightly with his one hand.

“We’re gonna buy another pair, I promise!”

“Seriously!!” I shriek and then suddenly, a group of friends, males and females, suddenly pass by. I bury my face right away on his chest, but once again, he laughs.

“They might not see your face but they will recognize me, babe. Remember how you told everyone last night that I never touch you? Well, this time, for sure they will realize it’s not true.” He proudly says in the middle of my embarrassment. “And that Mike’s never gonna get hold of you again.”

He reaches for my robe and wraps it around mine. I can finally calm myself now that I have some of my privacy back.

However, he holds my hand tightly, and when I look at him, I get surprised with another expression of Lee Tae Min. “You will literally be on your knees in a little while.”

“Is that your face?” I almost bleed my lips when I bite them too hard after saying that bluntly.

“Definitely.” He answers back.
