This was my second ever mystery genre story. I posted this on winglin before but as I shall also share it on here. The book that inspired me to write was is Daddy's Little Girl-by Mary Higgins Clark. An emotionally sad and revengeful story. I've stated before I'm a bit more interested in mystery stories now-and probably return to romance stories later, so I'll keep working with these. Lets begin with the story now!

Casting:
Selina - Suffering from the death of her twin, who was savagely murdered near a cabin 10 years ago, she is now an investigative reporter on the search for her twin sister's murderer who is still running loose. It has become an obsession to her and she will stop at no cost until she slams down the killer.
Aaron - the CEO of the publishing company Selina has been moved to. Selina mistakes him for his twin brother and that's how they hit it off. He finds warmth from Selina that he's been missing out from his busy life of taking care of his disabled brother and old aged father.
Jiro - he takes after his father who was once a detective and the person in charge of Selina's twin, Xuan's case. He is also a detective and finds himself attached to Selina when he is assigned with her on a homicide case.
Hebe - Selina's friend, who knows all about the case regarding Xuan's death.
Evan - Aaron's younger twin brother

Synopsis:
Everything begins when Selina's home is set on fire one night and her next door neighbor, Jiro, saves her by calling the rescue team. He suspects her of leaving the door unlocked, and when Selina finally returns to the apartment to gather her belongings she discovers something unimaginable that may lead her to Xuan's murderer. She draws even closer to the killer when she recognizes an old classmate at her new company, however she does not realize that she is mistaking Aaron for his twin brother, who had gone to the same high school with her. Things take a turn for the worse and Selina begins to fear for the first time in her life when she gets abducted by Evan and is chased down by him in the same woods where her twin was murdered. Will Selina ever get over her grievance for her twin's death? Will she find the killer without being killed first?
