“wh-what are you doing?” seohyun said as she tries to stand up from the sofa but was useless as yonghwa pulled her down once again. She stared into his eyes, trying to find the reason for his action but she couldn’t read him. He only pulled her closer till she was sitting in his lap. The more seohyun try to struggle the more yonghwa tighten his grip as his hands were securely in her waist making no chance for seohyun to scape.

“Tell me, why did you came with him?” Yonghwa asked as he looked in to her eyes once again. “ Why did you chose him over me?” He whispered in her ear, as he smelled her sweet scent again. Even if his senses were all screw up with all the drinks he had, yonghwa could still see her. Even with all those clothes that were not the person he knows, yonghwa knew the moment he scent her that it was her; his seohyun. At first he may have been skeptic to whether it was truly her but once yonghwa started walking towards seohyun, her sweet scent enter his nostril and so did his anger as he saw what she was wearing up close. He was pissed when she saw her so close to jonghyun that he couldn’t even contain him self and pounce jonghyun to the ground. Now that they were alone, yonghwa couldn’t help but to wonder why did she change so much. He admits she looks gorgeous, but in his eyes, yonghwa knew she was always gorgeous and now he couldn’t help but to feel scared for other people will know too.

Seohyun in the other hand remained silent. She thought that for sure once they were alone yonghwa will start asking for whom she was but instead it seems it only cares for why she was with jonghyun. She reached in to his face and took his mask out as he took hers as well. “Do you not recognize me now?” Seohyun asked instead.

“ Of course I recognize you. You are Seohyun.” Yonghwa scoff as he look in to her again. “ I may be drunk but I can still recognize your scent.”

He doesn’t recognize me!  Seohyun thought as she looked into his eyes again. Yonghwa could only stared at her trying to figure out what she meant but he could only see everything blurry. The drinks he had must be finally affecting his sight. He tried to shake his head hoping his senses came back but it only brought a little of dizziness. “You are drunk.” Seohyun stated.

“ I may had more drinks that I could handle” Yonghwa said as he brought their faces together. “ But I guess you are right, I don’t recognize you seohyun. I don’t know what you are hiding from me but I will find out.”

Seohyun could only smiled playfully. Seohyun may not be sure of yonghwa’s reaction once he finds out who she is but she has opted to let him know later. “ I may tell you my secret if you accept to dance with me.” For a moment she was skeptical that he was really drunk but now that he could see him closely, she could see yonghwa was a little tipsy. You cannot even tell he was truly drunk when he seems to be able to talk so normally.

“There’s no music here.” Yonghwa said as their lips were closed together. He doesn’t really want to dance right now especially after he has her so close to him. “ Besides, I feel dizzy right now.”

“I’m sure you can manage besides I can still hear the music even if it’s lightly” Seohyun said pulling herself away from him and helping him stand up. Yonghwa could only chuckle, but followed her either way. 

“Would you tell me what you hide after this dance?”

“Maybe.” She said playfully, as he scowled, definitely not the answer he wanted to hear.

“ You are a complete mystery seohyun. You know a lot of things about me yet I don’t know much about you, its like you don’t trust me enough like you trust jonghyun.”

“Its not like that, jonghyun knows me...we have a past together.” Seohyun said knowing that her secrecy has hurt yonghwa.

“Then why don’t you let me know you so I can understand you better. Why do you hide everything about yourself, even to this point you don’t trust me enough to meet your parents like you have trust jonghyun. You have never answer any questions when I asked you about your past in Korea and whenever I asked jonghyun or you, you will always avoid the question and ignore me. Tell me what is it that you hide seohyun.”

“ I’m not the person you think I am yonghwa.” Seohyun finally said. “If I tell you who I truly am, I’m afraid you will push me away.” 

“ I will never do that seohyun.” Yonghwa said as he pulled her closer. “ Nothing you tell me will let me push you away. How can I when all I think is about you. All my nights are filled with your dorky self looking at me with those beautiful brown eyes of yours that you always hide in those ugly glasses.” He said as he stared at her eyes. “ Tell me how can I push you away when all I want is to have you with me always.”

Without even realizing yonghwa closed their gap between each other and took her lips in to his mouth. The dance was finally over and even though yonghwa didn’t get the answer he was looking for he was too lost in their kiss to even think. Yonghwa slowly walk seohyun to the sofa again, gently letting her rest there.

Seohyun wrapped her hands around his neck, pulling him closer to her. Slowly losing herself in their kiss, as she tasted his sweet lips. Yonghwa slowly pulled away and before she could even object, his lips left to her neck. Seohyun was surprised about the course that this was taking yet she wanted to speak; no words came out of . Seohyun started to panic and just when she was about to pull him away, yonghwa stopped.

 Sensing the panic in her yonghwa stopped what he was doing. The urgency to mark her as his was killing him, yet yonghwa knew that once he marked her there would be no turning back. You could only mark your future mate once the right time came in, and even though his instinct was telling him to make her his yonghwa could never do it without her consent, especially when she’s afraid of him. “ Lets just stay like this for a moment.”

Seohyun only nodded as she wrapped her arms around him again letting him rest his head in her shoulder. After moment has passed seohyun thought it was best to let him know who she was right now. “ Yonghwa my name is not Seo Joo Hyun but Kwon Seohyun. I’m not an earth descendant but a fire descendant.”
