Kai's POV

While my date with Charlotte was like a dream come true, once I got home, reality had set in, and I realized I was still currently in a relationship, and I'm positive it's considered cheating when you go on dates with other girls,

I hated seeing Charlotte go through a cheating relationship, and I didn't want to see Lola go through one either

So that next morning, I took her out to breakfast so we could talk

I was waiting at a small diner when I see Lola walk in, she looked so happy to see me. 

"Good morning handsome" she says as she sits down

"Good morning" I respond

"So what did you want to talk about?" she flashes this big smile at me

"I-um-" before I could say anything the waiter came to take our order. 

I ordered some pancakes with sausage and Lola ordered eggs and hash browns

"Two orange juices too" she says as she hands the waiter back our menus

For a moment I was just staring at her, I really didn't want to delay such bad news and she was in such a good mood. 

"Lola, I-" again I was interrupted by the sound of her phone ringing.

"I have to take this, I'll be right back" she leaves the booth and goes outside

Coincidentally, my phone went off too, it was Charlotte

"Good Morning Kai, I hope you're having a happy Sunday" Charlotte says with so much energy

"I can tell you're having a good one" 

"I am, and you want to know why?"

"Why?" just the sound of her voice made my heart pound

"Because I don't have a two-timing husband anymore" she laughs, I'm glad she was able to laugh at that situation

"Well I'm very happy for you, I'll call you back in a moment" 

"Alright, talk to you later" 

The second I hang up, Lola walks back in, and I still have a smile on my face from talking to Charlotte

"Why do you have a big, goofy smile on your face?"

I'd stopped smiling once I realized what I was here for

"Lola there's something that I have to tell you" 

But before I could say anything, our food had arrived. 

We ate in silence, as I went over in my head how I would break the news to Lola, without sounding too mean

"That was delicious" she tells me after she takes her last sip of orange juice,

"Yeah it was, Lola I have to tell you something" 

"What?" 

"I want to break up with you" I slowly say and her whole face turns into a sad expression

"Oh" was all she said

"It's just that-"

"I know why, it's because of Charlotte, isn't it?"

I nod my head

"Kai she's still married, what don't you get about that?" 

"No she's going to get a divorce"

"What did you ruin their marriage on purpose to be with her?!"

"No, he cheated on her" 

"Oh so now that her husband is out of the picture, you just step in like some little rebound boy toy?" 

"I'm not a rebound, Charlotte likes me back" 

"How stupid can you be Kai? She doesn't like you back, she's just hurt her marriage is over and needs some attention" 

"You're wrong, you don't even know Charlotte" 

"I don't, but I am a girl, and I have been cheated on before" 

"Well you and her are completely different" 

"Whatever Kai, just don't come running back to me when she breaks your heart" she throws her napkin down and storms out of the diner

I pay the bill and go back home, 

I see Woonha sitting on the couch, doing nothing, as usual.

"I did it" I tell him

"Did what?"

"I broke up with Lola, to be with Charlotte" 

He just stares at me. 

"What? Did I do something wrong?"

"You're going to cause so many problems, you and your small brain of yours"

"What do you mean?"

"Well for starters, Charlotte still works for Lola, so she's probably going to take the break up out on her and aside from that I just saw Jinsang today and he knows about your date with Charlotte and he plans on beating the life out of you" 

"That whole Charlotte, Lola, thing is not going to happen, Lola is against bullying completely, so I doubt she'll bully Charlotte, and as for Jinsang, I'm not afraid of him" 

"Since you're so sure of yourself, I'm just going to step back and watch the whole thing go down, oh and Jin is on his way over, so i suggest you either square up or you go M.I.A" 

"I can handle myself Woonha, don't worry about it" I assure him

Seconds later the doorbell rings. 

Woonha peeps through the peephole and tells me it's Jinsang

Then he starts banging on the door, which I had to admit was making a tad bit nervous 

"Open the damn door!" his booming voice ejects through the door

"Should I let him in or are you scared?" Woonha looks over at me

"Let him in, I'm not scared of him" I pull the ends of my shirt

Woonha slowly turns the knob and Jinsang busts in and grabs me by my collar

"You went on a date with my wife?!" he screams in my face. 

"Yeah I did" I say with confidence

"You little bastard" he punches me in my stomach and the air is knocked out of me

As I'm curled up on the floor, Jinsang starts kicking me

"Stop it Jinsang!" I hear an out of breath voice, it was Charlotte's. 

She grabs him by the arms and pulls him away from me. 

He throws her arms off of him as he calms himself down. 

"Are you okay Kai?" she helps me up and over to the couch with the help of Woonha

"How could you just watch your brother get beat up like that?" Charlotte asks him.

"He said he didn't need my help" was his defense

She turns towards Jinsang with anger I'd never seen her show before. 

"Really Jinsang? You sank to violence?" she crosses her arms

"You went out on a date with him and we'd only been separated for a week? You expect me to believe you developed feelings for him in a week?"

Charlotte remains quiet

"How long has it been Charlotte?" 

"How long has what been?"

"How long have you had feelings for Kai?!" 

She hesitates to answer.

"For a while" she admits 

"You have?" Woonha, Jinsang, and I all say in unison but in different tones 

She nods 

Charlottes POV

"So you stopped loving me Charlotte?" Jinsang says in a voice that would break your heart 

"I could ask you the same, with you cheating on me?" 

"Jenny was just a friend with benefits, what me and her had was nothing compared to what me and you had" 

"Then why did you cheat on me in the first place?!" 

"Charlotte it was a mistake" 

"I'm glad you know that it was, but it's not going to change anything" 

He looks over and Kai and charges at him. I try to pull him off but he's a very muscular man 

"Woonha help me!" I order but he just stands there, "you're such an !" 

Eventually I give up trying to pull him off and try to reason with him before he does some permanent damage to Kai 

"What will it take for you to stop beating him up?!" 

"I want you to come home!" He answers as he throws yet another punch at Kai 

"Alright fine just stop hurting him!" 

Finally he let's go of Kai and I rush over to see if he was okay 

"You're not really going back with him are you?" Kai asks with a bruised up, bleeding face 

"I have to, or he'll mess you up Kai" 

"But what about us?" 

"You might have to wait longer, but I'll understand if you don't want to" 

"I promised you I would, didn't I?" 

I hand him a tissue I had in my pocket and shove Jin out of their apartment

On the car ride home I didn't speak to Jin, I was furious with him! 

"Charlotte, you have to talk to me eventually" he grabs my arm before I could go upstairs 

"Don't touch me!" I jerk my arm away and head upstairs 

I grab a comforter from the linen closet and go back downstairs 

"Where are you going?" I hear him ask me but I ignore him 

I put the comforter on the couch and start taking my sneakers off 

He takes the comforter and starts walking off with it 

"Give it back!" I order but he doesn't listen 

"You're not going to sleep on the couch. Sleep in our bed" 

"I don't want to sleep in the same bed as you, I can't stand being around you!" 

"You don't mean that?" 

"Oh but I do" 

"What do I have to do for you to forgive me?" 

"Well maybe not beating up Kai would have made me forgive you quicker" 

"How could I not beat him up after hearing you were growing feelings for him while we we're married?" 

"You cheated on me and I didn't hit that Jenny" 

"But I bet you wanted to!" 

"What does that have to do with anything?" 

"All I'm saying is we were both wrong. I cheated and you lied" 

"How did I lie?" 

"Kai and I are just friends! Yeah right you've probably always had secret feelings for him" 

"Not true! And I never did anything with Kai!" 

"And I never loved anyone else but you. You might not want to admit it but we both cheated, the only difference was mine was physical and yours was emotional" 

"You're just trying to justify your mistakes!" 

"Well maybe I would've never cheated if you payed more attention to me!" 

"What is that supposed to mean?" 

"That I noticed a change in our marriage when you were around Kai, you don't think I could tell you were falling for him?" 

I stayed quiet 

"I knew because you treated him like you did me when you fell for me?" His voice breaks while saying the last part, "I know cheating was wrong but I felt like I was losing you Charlotte" 

"That still doesn't make it okay Jin!" 

"I'm begging you Charlotte,  please lets keep our marriage together. Let's start fresh" 

"How can I be sure you won't cheat on me again?" 

"I promise I won't!  If I do I'll pack your bags and buy you a new place to stay"
