Chapter 1

"Why does he keep looking at me like that? Aish" Dara held onto her bag as she mumbled to herself incoherently. Her eyebrows scrunched together as annoyance welcomed her. Every day she would walk it to her university alone, and every day she was welcomed with the same sight. 5 boys sat on the railings whilst one of the boy’s eyes was glued to her. She never questioned him as they were known as ‘the lethal gang’, which Dara believed was nonsense.

“You can do it…fighting” But what really intrigued her was that every step she took closer to them along with her eyes sometimes making contact with the boy in the middle. She would feel hot and turn into a tomato. She never really questioned it but instead ignored it.

“Dara!” She stopped midway as she turned her head around to spot her bestfriends. CL and Bom. Dara and Bom have known each other since their parents gave birth to them whilst CL was a mysterious girl who they met in college. But instantly clicked. Dara took a breath in seeing her bestfriends, she didn’t have to worry about the gang leader who constantly stared at her. “You walk so slow” Bom commented seeing her pace earlier.

“You should know by now why…” Dara eyes rolled to the side hinting her bestfriends about the gang leader.

“Ohhhh…what if he’s plotting to kill you?” Bom gasped before her eyes landed on the gang leader named Jiyong. Dara slapped her arm as her mind ran through the question…shaking her head in bewilderment. Bom would always come up with the stupidest things.

“Lets go” CL mumbled eyeing her bestfriends before walking ahead. Her eyes landed on Jiyong who was still busy staring at Dara and she knew why.
