We walk slowly around the whole foods store.

Sandeul and I are looking for some Ramen noodles while Baro is searching the groceries for our dinner. Hyera needs to work. I have the day off. 

I came home at 4 PM and immediately got dragged to this boring food store.

Sandeul and I were standing in front of the Ramen shelf. It's impossible to decide which sort of Ramen I want to have. 

I see a shape move in our direction from the corner of my eye. 

Like my reflex want it I look up.

I almost got a heart attack.

This time I have no laptop screen I could duck behind.

Key is standing there. Maybe 20 feet away from me. Smiling a weak smile in my direction.

The time I saw him at Starbucks is 2 weeks ago. 

I thought about what I would do if I would meet him. I always thought about how I would be cool and say 'Hi' to him asking how he would be.

But my reaction now isn't as half as cool as I would have wanted it to be. 

I literally run away. Leaving the confused Sandeul behind me and searching for Baro. 

Baro knows how Key looks like.  He also knows what a pain he caused me.

As I reach him he is looking for some cheese.

"Where's Sandeul?"  He asks looking at the cheese.

"Uuhhh...."

Now he looks at me.

"What do you mean with 'Uh'? Did you lost him, or what?!"  He chuckles.

"He is probably still searching for noodles.."  I try to sound normal and not to freak out.

"Why aren't you with him?"

"Uuuhhhhhhhmm............"

Baro's left eyebrow raises.

I can't hold in me anymore. "I saw Key....."

"Did he saw you?"  Baro's face gets serious.

Uh oh.

"He smiled at me............"  I try to smile. But I fail.

"Where!?" Baro gets an angry face expression. 

He is always protecting me. He did as I sat on the bench crying. And he did as a guy on a party tried to make a fun of me.

I can tell he is pissed. 

The fact that he knows Key was the reason for my crying and my depression back then, doesn't make it better.

"It doesn't matter Baro... He's in the past!"

"Yeah, I see that...."

"What do you mean?"

"The look of horror in your eyes"

"What? Pft.... No..."

He looks at me like 'Do you really think I'm that stupid?!'.

"It really doesn't matter... Just lets finish this and go home. I'm tired."

"Okay, if you say so"

I helped him to get the rest of the needed groceries. As we are standing at the cash desk I notice Sandeul isn't here. Where the heck is he?!

"Baro, I'm going to search Sandeul I will be back in a minute!"

As I find him he was standing by the candy.

"Sandeul! You coming?!"

He looks up at me. Grins and grabs a pack of  cookies.

...

"Wasn't that your ex?" Sandeul asks me as we sit in Baro's car, driving to Hyera's and my penthouse.

"Uh... maybe" I reply looking down at my hands. 

I sit in the passenger seat. Sandeul in the back.

"I think he looked nice."  He tells me randomly.

"Not helpful!"  Baro barges in.

I just keep looking down.
 

Memories flooding my head.

 

>Flashback<

"What do we need for the cake?"  Key asked me looking around.

We were groceries shopping.

"Lets start with 6 eggs"  I answered looking at my list.

We got the 6 eggs, sugar, baking powder, vanilla sugar and milk.

"Do we have enough flour?!"  I asked Key on the way to the cashier.

"Don't know"  He simply answered.

I groaned, playing annoyed of his not helping answer. 
 

He just grinned at me.

"I will get it"  I said. Better more than less.

Before I could go he grabbed my arm and spun me around.  He chuckled and gave me a little peck on the lips. 
 

I just rolled my eyes. Grinning.

I feel how my eyes get watery.  Still looking down I sniff a bit.


"See what you did?!"  Baro half screams to Sandeul.

"No! It's okay"  I reassure him.

"If I will ever meet him, I will kick him, really.. I swear!!!"

"No Baro! It's okay! Really!!!"  I look up at him.

"What did he do?!"  Now Sandeul butts in.

"He broke her heart, for his best friend!!! Because of him she was depressive and had thoughts of cutting herself!!!!" 
 

Baro explains in an angry voice. Automatically speeding up the car.

"Wait.... He is gay?"

I chuckle a bit. Hyera thought the same as I told her Key fell for his best friend.

"Yeah..."  Baro says serious.

"Baro!"  I shout playfully.

"Okay no, his best friend was a girl..."  Baro corrects himself.

"What a loser....."  Sandeul mumbles.

I just roll my eyes. 

I know why I love these guys. 

They could lightening my mood instantly.
