Chapter 50

"This is... unbelievable!" Chaerin said as she clung onto my arm, looking around in amazement. "The decoration, the food, the drinks, and all the people all dressed up! It's just so... overwhelming!"

I had to admit, it looked pretty good actually. There were balloons everywhere, the walls, the roof and the floor was covered with it. Packed with people who were already dancing to the music and enjoying themselves. I even spotted Sehun talking to a girl, which was really nice. I had seen the girl before, she was a freshman. I think her name was Jin-ri, and she seemed like a nice girl. I had never talked to her, and i hadn't seen her talking to other people either, but hey, maybe they matched each other very well?

I also spotted Jonghyun and Zico sitting way, way in the back in the corners, both looking down at the floor with their hands in their lap. I grabbed Chaerin's wrist and headed over to them. They both looked stunning in their brand new suits, that Chaerin had forced them to buy, and their styled hair. Jonghyun lit up when he noticed us trying to squeeze through the crowd.

Jonghyun nudged Zico, and he immediately looked up at Jonghyun, before following his gaze that was on us. "Ladies" Jonghyun stood up and walked towards us, followed by Zico. "You look lovely tonight".

"Correction, we always look lovely" Chaerin said, giving him her best smile.

Zico looked her up and down. "Is that a... bird nest?" He asked as he pointed to the giant thing on her head.

Chaerin put her hands on her hips as she glared at him. "It is a hat. It's called fashion, something you obviously has no clue about".

"You know, for the first time we agree on something" He said as he grinned at her.

She sighed and crossed her arms as she moved her eyes towards the floor. "Just dance with me".

"What? Dance?" Zico said, his eyes widened as he slowly stepped back. "Oh no... no one ever said anything about dancing".

She immediately lifted her head and glared at him. "I'm not letting all my effors go to waste! I'm going to dance, and you're going to dance with me, and that's final!" She said before dragging the poor boy who was trying to get away from her, but to no use.

I giggled as i watched them awkwardly dancing, with Chaerin's hands around his neck while Zico was making faces as he wrapped his arms around her waist. "It won't be long now".

I looked up at Jonghyun who was smirking at me. "What?"

"Chaerin and Zico" He said as he nodded towards them, arms crossed over his chest. "But they need a little push. You up for a little game called cupid?" He grinned down at me.

I rolled my eyes and smirked. "You know, we should let them work this out for themselves".

"They've had enough time, it's time to take action and make things happen".

"Okay, what do you suggest we do then?"

He glanced around the room before his eyes landed on someone. "I know just the right person to ask".
