Chapter 21

"N!" I shouted, and he stopped and turned around while giving me a sad look, that reminded me of a puppy. 

"What's wrong?"

"I'm sorry, i can't go with you" I turned around, and ran as fast as i could towards the door. But N was already blocking it with an evil smirk on his face.

"I don't think so" I walked down the steps, and he followed. I glanced over at the arrow, and then it all happened so fast. I ran over to the arrow, picked it up and aimed at N who was laughing.

"One more step, and i'll shoot".

He continued to laugh. "You really think something stupid like that is going to hurt me?"

I shrugged. "Come at me, and we'll see".

"Since you asked" His eyes turned red, and his fangs grew out. He opened his mouth wide and lunged himself towards me.

I remembered all the times i had practiced on a tree, and that had been easy, but this was a vampire, and Jiyong told me it would be much harder with vampires. N was dangerously close now, and if i didn't release the arrow now, it would be too late. So i closed my eyes and let the arrow go.

It wasn't until i heard N make some grunting noises, that i opened my eyes. He was lying on the ground, right in front of me with the arrow sticking out on his chest. It wasn't near his heart, so it wouldn't kill him, but it would at least slow him down temporarily. I put the bow down and walked over to him and bent down next to his head.

"Take... it... out..." He tried to sound threatening, but the pain from the arrow was keeping him from doing so. Instead, he managed to sound like a little kid who was in a great pain. The pain in his face and his eyes almost made me reach for the arrow and pull it out, but i stepped back and glared at him. "You... . Take it out!".

I rolled my eyes. Sure, calling me a will make me take it out. I crossed my arms while i waited for Jiyong to come back. And just like that, Jiyong was standing in front of N, looking down at him with a confused expression. He looked up at me.

"What happened?"

I smirked and pointed to myself. "Me. I did that. Wasn't i good?" I walked up to him and looked down at N. "I feel bad for him though".

"Don't" Jiyong said as he looked at the door. "I'll just put your stuff inside. Scream if he gets loose" And then Jiyong was gone, but a few seconds later, before i had even taken in what he had said, he was back to look at the wound that was forming on N's chest. "Hmm... not bad, not bad" He looked up at me and smiled. "You did good".

I slightly bent my knees and tilted my head to the side, and curtsied to him. "Thank you".

He chuckled and shook his head in amusement. "Remind me to tell you to do that when you're in your school uniform".

I rolled my eyes. "ert".

"Seems to be a new nickname for me" He grinned at me and looked down at N, who was glaring at both of us.

"Are you going to pull this thing out of me or what?!"

"Hmm..." Jiyong stood up and looked at me. "What do you think? Should we let him suffer a little more?" I shrugged. "What did he do to you?"

"Nothing. I stopped him before he could do anything
