“So, where were you when I called you for at least five times?” Sehun asked as he barged in Junhee’s room around ten in the morning, Junhee just glared at him, she was wearing nothing but her bathrobe.

“What?” Sehun asked.

“I need to get dressed.”

“You don’t have work today.”

“I know.” She shrugged before walking to the walk-in closet to change.

Sehun dropped himself on the bed.

“So, why are you here?” Junhee asked as she stepped out, wearing a pair of cotton sweats and a loose top.

“I don’t feel like going to the office.”

“Hmm.” She nodded as she plopped beside Sehun.

“Do you want to roam around?”

“No.” He replied.

“Why don’t you just stay at your own home then?” She asked.

“Too tired.”

“Too tired to stay home but you drove here?”

“At least here I have someone to annoy, will you cook some ddeokbokki? I kind of want it now.”

Junhee just slapped his arm before standing up.

“Come on, Oh. To the kitchen we go.”

“I don’t get it, why would you ditch this company meeting?” Junhee asked while seated on the kitchen counter.

Sehun just shrugged and sat down, he set his bowl of spicy rice cakes in front of him. Junhee looked at her friend. He was seated on the chair with his food on the counter.

Something was definitely wrong.

“Spill it out, Oh.” She said. It was quiet for seconds, Junhee just continued to chew on the rice cakes.

Then Sehun sighed and leaned his forehead on her thigh.

Junhee blinked.

“She’s back, Hee.” Sehun murmured.

“..What?” Junhee balked.

“I don’t know, oppa. I’m quite busy.” Junhee murmured while trying to balance her phone between her ear and shoulder and also holding a box of clothes.

“Why? It’s almost four, you’re supposed to be free by this time.” Suho said from the other line.

“I promised Sehun I’d drop by. Don’t worry, I’ll try to come oppa.” She assured.

“You better, abeoji wants to see you.” Suho warned slightly.

“Oppa, that tone doesn’t suit you.” She chuckled.

“At least I tried, don’t overwork yourself, sweetie.”

“Got it, see you later.”

Chanyeol leaned on his seat while rubbing his temples.

“What’s wrong with you, hyung?” Kai asked as he took the seat next to him.

“I don’t know, why are we even here?” He replied.

The two were inside a function for a fundraiser. They saw Suho enter the event with the elder Kim.

“I am asking myself the very same question.” Kai said.

“Right, I ran into your cousin a few days ago.”

“Junhee.” Kai nodded.

“She’s always with that guy, Oh…”

“Sehun, they’re best friends sort of, but sometimes they want to behead each other.” Kai grinned.

“Behead?” Chanyeol blinked.

“You’ll see, hyung.” Kai nodded towards the entrance as Sehun stepped in with Junhee.

“A fundraiser event.” Junhee stated.

“Your father’s here.” Sehun nodded towards where Suho and the elder man were standing.

Junhee smiled and walked to them.

“Abeoji.” She greeted and gave him a hug.

“Good to see you, Hee, Sehun too.” The man smiled warmly at them.

“See, oppa? I came.”

“Good thing, you always spend your time with those guys.”

“I happen to work for their company.” Junhee rolled her eyes.

Then she felt Sehun’s hand grasp her wrist tightly.

“Sehun-ah?”
