“Yah, do you really think you can win her over?”

“Psh,” Yo Seob made a soft scoffing sound as he squared up his shoulders to match up to his rival. He stood directly in front of Woo Young and bored into his eyes intimidatingly.

“And what makes you think that you can?”

Woo Young his lips impatiently as he stared at the younger boy in utter disbelief. He couldn’t even believe that he was having this absurd conversation with someone who isn’t worth his time at all.

“I know her more than you do, okay? Ji Eun won’t fall for guys like you.”

“You’re making her sound like a shallow person, you know that?” Yo Seob shot back evenly. “Ji Eun isn’t that type of girl. She has the purest heart you can ever find; an innocent girl who doesn’t judge others by physical looks. Hell, she doesn’t judge anyone.”

Taking a step closer until he towered over Yo Seob slightly, Woo Young made use of his advantage in height to intimidate him but Yo Seob appears unfazed.

“I’ve detest you ever since you came into our family,” he said in a low hissing voice which made Yo Seob shudder a little but he still manages to keep his composure. “I’ve disliked you ever since the day we became step-brothers.”

“And what makes you think I like you anymore than you do?” Yo Seob challenged him back bravely but still backing a step away.

A small cynical smile started to play on Woo Young’s lips as he said his next few words.

“I’m not going to let you take away Ji Eun from me.”
