"Can we stay together?" Those words kept replaying over and over in JIyong's head. Do I say yes? What does she mean by it? Stay together, as in together as a couple or together as friends? What does she mean and how does she expect me to answer? Jiyong continued to stare at her not even saying a word.
Dara waited in silence but was freaking out internally, Why isn't he responding? Does he really want nothing to do with me now? What do I do? Can't he at least be friends with me?
He slowly started to smile, "You were right, you completely blew me away." He raised his eyes to meet hers, "I never expected you to sing for me...it was beautiful." He looked at the bench she was sitting on, "may I sit next to you?"
Dara couldn't even speak, beautiful??? she just gave him a slight nod. He started to walk closer to her until he was able to sit down right next to her on the bench. Dara was filled with happiness at his words. Love? He loves me??? "So...you love me?" she asked wanting to confirm things.
Jiyong smiled at her sweetly, "very much so. I've probably loved you since the first day I met you all of those years ago. I told you, you've made me go crazy. I love you so much Sandara Park. My butterfly, my ssantokki."
Dara felt butterflies fill her stomach causing her to be unable to say anything.
He moved his head closer to her so that he could whisper into her ear, "so what is your reply Darong?"
Ignoring the creation of a new nickname, all Dara could do was look into his eyes and nod, "I love you too, my gummy smile."
Jiyong felt the happiness overflowing in his body as he closed the space between them with a kiss. When he pulled back from her, he said, "A kiss to seal the deal. Hello, my beautiful girlfriend," smiling with utter delight.
Dara laughed, "I have such a cute and y boyfriend."
y? He grinned widely and said, "I love you," before leaning in again to kiss her.
