*beep beep* “Hmmm?” I raise an eyebrow as I felt a notification from my phone. Ah, it’s just a new email, Star Date? It’s probably junk mail… Right before I click the email, someone calls my name. Ah, I’ll just check it later. I quickly place my phone back into my purse and walk over to the person that called my name.

“We need to get going, come on, grab your things,” the man checked his phone for updates, “There’s a lot of traffic on the way to the airport, so we better get going.”

“Mhmm,” I nod as I grab my travel bag, business trip is over, now it’s time to go back home, I smile at the thought.

We traveled to the airport without any issues and breezed through security. While waiting for the boarding process to start, I overheard a group of girls gossiping in Korean.

“Oh my goodness, I hope I won!” one girl squealed.

Trying to shut them out, I place an earbud in to my ear and fold my arms. Despite my efforts, I still could hear them.

“I know! Me too!” her friend replied, “Today’s the day they’re going to announce the winner!”

Winner? Must be some contest? Fan contest? I wondered as I started to eavesdrop into their conversation.

“Mhmm, I got the email from Star Date,” the first girl said, “Gah, I’m so nervous about opening it.”

“Me too!” the second girl said nervously, “How about we open it at the same time? If one of us gets it, no hard feelings, right?”

“Mm,” the first girl nodded in agreement, “On the count of three? One.”

“Two.”

“Three!”

There was a silence before gentle sobs could be heard.

Ah, I guess they didn’t win, I thought as I tried to hear what they were mumbling between their sobs.

“We were so close *sob* we could’ve *sob* met him,” the first girl cried.

Met him? So it is a contest to meet a celebrity? I concluded, Him who?

“It’s okay Jiyeon-ah,” the second girl sobbed, “There must have been millions of people who participated. We probably didn’t even have a chance.”

“I know, but still,” fresh tears appeared from the first girl, “it’s THE G-dragon, THE Kwon Jiyong. I’m so envious of the person who won a date with him.”

G-DRAGON??? A contest to win a date with G-dragon??? My eyes widened in slight surprise.

“Whoever won is so lucky!” the second girl pouted, drying away all of her tears, “Plus everything is paid for, I wonder if Star Date is going to publish a picture of the girl?”

“I think I read in the contest outlines that they would. They’re paying for transportation and any other fees for the date, plus at the end of the date they'll take an official commemorative photo,” the first girl said as she slowly started drying her tears, “Aish, so embarrassing, crying in an airport."

Star Date…why does that sound so familiar? I bit my lip in frustration trying to think where I’d seen Star Date before. Ah! The email, I softly giggle as I pull my phone out.

Ah, why didn’t I read the rest of the subject line? “Star Date: Date With G-Dragon contest!” I really entered this contest? I giggled as I clicked the email open. There's no way I would have won.

The first thing I saw were the words “CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve won a date with G-dragon!” written in large bolded letters .

WAIT WHAT??? My eyes widened.

A/N: HI! Just a short oneshot haha. The idea has been stuck in my head for a while, so here goes nothing xD I'll upload the chapter soon. And I'll be updating "If You" in the next couple of days too (if you guys follow that story too) :3
