“Yoong oppa~~” That chubby cheeks, cried and tightly wrapped her arms around MY Yoongie as soon as we arrived at

Seoul Medical Center.

 

 

“Shhhh Hyunnie it's okay. I'm sure your appa is going to be just fine.” Yoongie comforted that thing. And right now, it is

taking every ounce of self-control to not pry those two away from each other....

 

 

“*AHEM*” I loudly cleared my throat pulling those two from their own little world.

 

 

“Oh Jessica unnie you came too.” She oh so politely greeted me after she recomposed herself.

 

 

“Yeah well how can I not come?” I replied, trying not to sound too sarcastic.

 

 

“Alright~ so Hyunnie what exactly happened.” Yoong cut in.

 

 

“Appa and I were just enjoying our lunch date when he suddenly clutched his chest and collapsed. The doctors said that

he had a heart attack from over working himself.” The thing explained.

 

 

“Alright, well, I guess all we can do right now is wait until he wakes up. But hey, have you eaten yet? You look pale?”

Yoong worriedly asked while he cupped the chubby cheek's face.

 

 

Okay Jessi, just chill. Breath in and out~ in and out~ calm yourself. Yoong only thinks of her as sister. But he still shouldn't

be doing that to that thing.

 

 

“Umm...” that thing averted his stare.

 

 

“Hyunnie.” Yoong sounded stern and that thing shook her head no.

 

 

“*sigh* I thought so. C'mon let's go get something to eat.” Yoong smiled and she nodded her head.

 

 

“Okay, let's go.” Yoong started walking towards the door with his hand holding that goody two shoes hand!!

 

 

Okay really?! Am I a statue or something? Like hello Yoongie, are you there? Jeez I've been ignored since we got here.....

Goodness it's like I'm watching some corny drama, like damn. AND WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU TWO GOING

WITHOUT ME!!! HEOL! I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS! MY BOYFRIEND who is currently preoccupied with his so called

sister like friend that he TOTALLY IGNORES ME, HIS GIRLFRIEND!! Stephen Im Yoong you are so going to get it.

 

 

I was about to chase after those two when a voice stopped me.

 

 

“Let them.” a faint voice said. Turning around I was surprised to see Mr. Seo awake.

 

 

“Ah hello Mr. Seo. How are you feeling?” I politely greeted and bow.

 

 

“I feel better now thank you Jessica-shi.” Mr. Seo smiled. I was a little caught off guard that he knew my name, but then I

remembered meeting him at one of the forced parties I had to attend a long long time ago.

 

 

“Mr. Seo please just call me Jessica, you are more respectable than I am.” I smiled and he nodded his head.

 

 

“Mr. Seo should I call Yoong or....”

 

 

“No, no don't call them. Let them be.” Mr. Seo smiled warmly.

 

 

“Ah okay.” I agreed.

 

 

Someone please help. This is so awkward I don't know what to do or what to say.

 

 

“Jessica.” Mr. Seo broke the awkward silence.

 

 

“Ah yes?”

 

 

“What do you think of Yoong?” He asked.

 

 

“Pardon?” I asked a little confused about his question.

 

 

“What do you think of Yoong as a person. Do you think he's a good man?” Mr. Seo asked me.

 

 

“Mr. Seo, I've known Yoong for a while and I can guarantee you that he is the perfect gentleman. He is very protective and

caring towards his friends and family. He never goes against his word and he treats everyone, no matter who they are, the

same.” I replied.

 

 

“He is isn't he. That's why I chose him.” Mr. Seo said.

 

 

“Chose him?” I asked.

 

 

“For my little Seobaby of course.” Mr. Seo lightly chuckled.

 

 

“I'm sorry I don't quite understand.” I said, starting to feel a little worried.

 

 

“Yoong will marry my Seobaby.” Mr. Seo dropped the bomb on me, and it's not just a normal bomb but a freaking

NUCLEAR BOMB ready to explode.

 

 

“Does Yoong know about this?” I asked trying to contain my emotions.

 

 

“Of course he does. He gave me his word that he will. You see Jessica, my Seobaby used to be so depressed and lifeless

ever since her so called love of her life left her, but then Yoong happened. He was like the light at the end of the tunnel for

my Seobaby. He pulled her out of her depression and returned the old Seobaby. That's why a couple months ago, I asked

Yoong to take care of Seobaby. It was kinda funny to see his confused face when I first told him that, but then I clarified

myself. I straight out asked him to marry Seobaby in the future.”

 

 

“D-did h-he a-agree?” I stuttered.

 

 

“He gave me his word.” Mr. Seo replied. And there it goes. That Nuclear bomb exploded, destroying my heart.

 

 

“I-I see. Mr. Seo if you may excuse, I forgot that I promised to meet my sister for dinner.”

 

 

“Ah yes, of course.” Mr. Seo smiled.

 

 

“Well, good bye Mr. Seo, get well soon.” I said my goodbye before walking out of his room, my feet dragging me to God

knows where.

 

 

Just what is this? I thought that everything will be perfect now. No more complications, but then THIS! Why didn't he tell

me? Is this what he was talking about before? Is THIS why things will get difficult for us now? Yoongie....you promised that

you won't leave me. You said that no one can separate us ever again, and I'm going to hold onto that Yoongie. I'm going to

hold on to you and there is no way in hell that I'm letting you go and marry that girl.

 

 

“Hey Jessi, what are you doing walking around...WAIT WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING BACK IN KOREA?!” A familiar

loud and bubbly voice brought me back to Earth.

 

 

“Yoong and I got back just a bit earlier.” I bluntly answered.

 

 

“Okay~, now explain why you're walking around at night without Yoong?”

 

 

“I was just at Seoul Medical Center, and now I'm here...” I trailed off.

 

 

“WHAT?! What were you doing there? Oh my gosh are you sick? Where's Yoong? Is he sick? What the hell is happening?”

Tiffany asked starting to see if I had a fever or something, while asking question after question.

 

 

“No Tiff, it wasn't me.” I replied.

 

 

“Then what's wrong? You look...” She trailed off and pushed me into her car and drove off to I don't know where.

“hey Jessi, wakey wakey. Goodness why does she have to sleep so much?! HEY JUNG SOOYEON WAKE UP!” Tiffany

brutally nudged me awake.

 

 

“Where are we?” I asked still half asleep

 

 

“At your condo duh~” Tiffany shook her head.

 

 

“Oh, why?” I asked.

 

 

“Where else are you going to spill the beans.”

 

 

“Tiff I have nothing to spill.” I lied.

 

 

“You know Jessi, you've always been a a fairly good bad liar. So c'mon get your y up and leggo.” She chuckled

before getting off the car and heading inside the building.

 

 

*sigh* might as well tell her, I mean I eventually will anyways.

“Okay talk Sooyeon.” Tiffany sternly demanded.

 

 

“Alright fine, but don't freak out okay?” I said and she nodded her head. So I told her everything from the phone call, to

rushing back to Korea, and finally my conversation with Mr. Seo.

 

 

“So yeah, that's what happened.” I tried to force a smile to get rid of the bitterness and loneliness surrounding my heart, and

without a word, tiffany pulled me into her arms and hugged me tight.

 

 

“Jessi.” She whispered, her voice cracking a bit.

 

 

“Hey Tiff, what's up I should be the one being emotional here.” I tried to lighten the atmosphere.

 

 

“I know...it's just that you two have been through a lot and now you have to deal with this. I just want you both to be happy

Jessi...but now...” She trailed off and pulled away from our hug.

 

 

“Don't worry Tiff, Yoongie and I, we'll find a way out of this mess.” I assured her, or more like myself.

 

 

“Jessi look at you.” Tiffany smiled and I looked at her confused.

 

 

“What about me?”
