After my mysterious prince vanished, I found myself in a daze. All I could think about was our dance and the kiss. How can

one stranger affect me so much? Wait, why did I even let him affect me in the first place? Aish~ just who is he?!? I NEED to

know! Because I have never felt like this towards ANYONE before.

“Jessi~ hellooo~~ earth to Jessi~~” Hae called out, pulling me out of my thoughts.

“Huh? Oh Hae, when did you get here?” I asked him.

“Jessi, I've been standing here for the past 5 minutes calling your name, but you were too zoned out to notice. Did

something happen?” Hae worriedly asked me while cupping my face and lovingly gazing into my eyes.

“Hmm? Oh nothing happened, but wait, where did you go earlier? I got off the stage and you were gone.” I glared at him.

“Sorry about that Jessi~ but I had to find this person right here.” Hae said and moved towards my side, revealing my best

friend wearing a pink dress mask in hand.

“Tiff!!!” I smiled and hugged my best friend.

“Jessi~~” Tiffany hugged me back.

“What are you doing here? I thought you weren't going to come?” I questioned, pulling away from our hug and allowing her

to put her mask on.

“Well~~ I didn't want to come, but since Donghae here kept texting my TaeTae, asking him to make me go, I just couldn't

resist.” Tiffany revealed.

“Aww~~ is that why you disappeared earlier?” I asked Hae and he cutely nodded.

“Wait, Tiff, if your with Taeyeon, then where is he?” I asked realizing that Taeyeon wasn't with her.

“Tae want off to meet his cousin.” Tiffany nonchalantly replied.

“Wait, Stephen is here?!?!” I asked Tiffany, who just nodded like it's no big deal, that my arch nemesis is here at my

FAMILY'S party!!

Okay, your probably wondering who Stephen is right? Well Stephen Kim, is the one guy on earth I hate to the absolute

core!! We've been in the same class since elementary school and he always annoys me!! Well, at first he didn't annoy me

but, then he just had to pull a cucumber prank on me and let's just say that whole hell went loose and ever since then, the

likelihood of Stephen Kim coming out alive, if you were to leave me and him in one room alone is 0%.

“Jessi, calm down. It's been so long since that incident why can't you just forgive Stephen?” Tiffany asked noticing my

angry/annoyed expression.

“Tiff, I don't know why everyone at school loves that guy! He is an absolute JERK! And I can't believe that he's Taeyeon's

cousin!” I pouted at Tiffany.

“Jessi~ calm down.” This time it was Hae, calming me down.

“How can I...” I began.

“Hey guys what did we miss?” Taeyeon smiled and wrapped his arm around Tiffany's waist, completely cutting me off.

“TaeTae~~ I missed you. Oh and hey Stephen.” Tiffany eye-smiled.

“Hey Tiffany, Donghae, Jessica-shi.” Stephen politely smiled at everyone. Gah~ gross.

“Hey Stephen, I didn't know you were coming.” Hae smiled.

“Oh well my dad came and mom is out of town, so I went in her place.” Stephen smiled.

“So little Stephen came with daddy because his mommy couldn't” I mocked.

“Yeah, pretty much.” He smiled, completely overlooking me mocking him.

“Oh and FYI this is a masquerade ball so why aren't you wearing a mask?” I glared.

“I was but it was kinda uncomfortable so I took it off.” He said before pulling his mask out of his pocket.

Wait that mask looks kinda familiar.

“Dude, Jessi's right, you shouldn't take off your mask at a masquerade ball.” Taeyeon teased.

“Okay okay, I'll wear it.” Stephen said and put the mask over his face.

His mask is the same style my mysterious prince wore, but it's in a different color. My prince's mask was white, his is black.

But I guess this type of mask is common, since it's just a plain one.

“Um Jessica-shi, is something wrong with my mask?” Stephen asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

“Um nothing.” I shook my head.

“Okay~~. But hey guys, I have to go. I'll see you guys around.” Stephen smiled at everyone before turning around to leave.

I stared at his back leaving and it reminded me of my mysterious prince leaving. *sigh* I wonder who that guy is? I really

want to see him again and know more about him.

“Jessi. Hey Jessi!!” Tiffany snapped her fingers in front of my face.

“Huh, oh Tiff, what's up?” I asked her.

“Nothing, but Jessi, can you accompany me to the bathroom.” Tiffany asked, or more like demanded, since she didn't even

give me a chance to answer, but just dragged me towards the bathroom.

“Okay, Jessi, what the hell was that?” Tiffany asked as soon as the door shut behind us.

“Hmm? What are you talking about Tiff?” I asked confused.

“Why were you staring at Stephen so much after he wore his mask?” She questioned.

Aish~ this mushroom! Why is she observant?

“I-I-I w-wasn't” I stuttered. , why am I stuttering.

“Mhm. Then why are you stut-stut-stut-stuttering.” Tiffany gave me a you-better-spill-or-elseI'll-give-you-a-cucumber look.

“Okay fine, but Tiff you have to promise that what I'm about to tell you is a secret. Don't tell anyone, especially Hae, okay?

And please don't over react.” I seriously asked and she cutely nodded her head.

And so I told my super bubbly best friend about my encounter with my mysterious prince.

“OH EM GEEE!! Jessi! That's so freakin cute! I can't believe you met a prince charming here at a masquerade ball! That's

so romantic~~ it's just like cinderella, except for the fact that your not poor, you don't have evil stepsisters/mom, and you

don't know who the prince is, but he does know you.” Tiffany squealed.

“Aish~ Tiff, you said you wouldn't over react.” I pouted.

“I'm not over reacting, because my reaction is perfect for your story. Omo Jessi~ does that mean that your going to dump

Donghae for your mysterious prince?” Tiffany seriously asked me.

“What?!?! Of Course not! How could you say that?! I don't even know that guy that well, how can I dump my boyfriend for

him.” I denied.

“Okay Okay~ jeez don't have to get so defensive. But tell me, was he a good kisser?” Tiffany gave me a playful smirk.

“Yah! Hwang Miyoung! That kiss was an accident it wasn't suppose to happen!” I glared.

“C'mon Jessi, that kiss was no accident, you said it yourself he kissed you right there and then and YOU didn't stop him or

push him away. So you like him and you really enjoyed that kiss.” Tiffany pointed at me accusingly.

Instead of answering my best friend, I turned around and left the bathroom, if I stayed any longer I don't know what that girl

will ask or accuse me of. I mean how can I like a stranger so easily? It's just impossible, I mean people don't really fall in

love at first sight right?

“I'm guessing you enjoyed it, since you didn't deny it.” Tiffany whispered in my ear when she rejoined our group, causing

me to flush red and glare at her.

Taeyeon and Tiffany stayed at the party a little bit longer before they had to leave. And Hae, well he had to leave too. His

dad called him telling him to come home immediately, he didn't tell me what was wrong, but the look on his face told me

that it was very serious, so instead of pouting and whining to make him stay longer I let him go and assured him that I'd be

fine going home with my family.

When everyone left, I walked around and somehow ended up at the garden, I removed my mask and stared up at the open

sky.

*sigh* I wish my mysterious prince was still here. Wait? What?
