Yoong's POV
“Oi, Sica, heyy.” I managed to catch Jessica when she suddenly fell asleep or more liked passed out.
Aish~ this girl, she really knows how to worry a person.
But just now, she was telling me that she lo- me? What the hell is lo?
Whatever, I'll think about that later, right now I need to get her home.
“Umm, can you help me get her on my back.” I asked the bartender who was staring at us weirdly, well why wouldn't he, I
mean I am barely able to hold onto her sleeping body, so she looks like some rag doll in my arms, with her arms limply on
her side, but she still looks as beautiful, even though she is slightly drunk, well not slightly, more like a holy hell how much
did you drink kinda drunk.
I secured Jessica on my back and had her purse around my neck, before heading out the door.
Now I have to find her car.
Incase your wondering, Taeng gave me a ride to the bar. So yeah, I didn't bring my car...
“Sica, where's your car?” I asked the deeply sleeping princess on my back.
Idiot Yoong, she's asleep of course she won't answer you.
After what seemed like forever I finally found her car. Why did she have to park so far, when she rented the whole place
out?
Now, I have to get her keys...but how do I do that without letting her go...eyy she's asleep I'm sure she won't mind if I put her
on the ground, I mean, she'll never know right?
“Don't even think about it..” She mumbled in her sleep, while I was bending down.
Tch~ even when she's asleep she still knows everything.
How am I suppose to get her in the car if she won't let me put her down? Aish~ I guess we err more like I, will have to
walk....until I find a cab that is.
Thinking about it now, I should have gotten her keys out before I carried her.... I seriously am an idiot.
“Aigoo~” I grunted, while walking up a slope, still trying to find a cab. I think I've been walking for about 22 minutes now, but
I don't mind, since Sica is as light as a feather hehe.
“Taxi!!” I yelled out, noticing a taxi up ahead. I probably looked ridiculous flailing my hands awkwardly, while trying to
support Sica on my back, but thank God the cab stopped.
Noticing that I was having difficulty, the taxi driver, got out and helped open the back door for us.
“Thank you, ahjussi.” I heaved a sigh of relief after sitting down and placing Sica's head on my shoulder, so that she can be
comfortable of course.
“No problem young man. So where you heading to?” the ahjussi asked.
“Twin Trooper's Tower.” I answered and the ahjussi just nodded and drove off.
“You looked like you were having some trouble earlier.” The ahjussi suddenly spoke.
“Yeah, just a bit.” I chuckled.
“Haha, well your wife seems really out of it. What happened you two fight or something?” The ahjussi asked.
“Ah no, she isn't my wife.” I dejectedly replied, but I wish she was...
“Oh, girlfriend then?” The ahjussi asked.
“No, she's just a friend, best friend in fact.” I gave the ahjussi a sad smile.
“But you wished you were more right?” The ahjussi gave me a knowing smile.
“Yeah...” I sighed..
“Well why don't you confess?”
“I did, but it was selfish of me to do so because she already has a boyfriend, now turned fiancee.” I confided in the ahjussi.
“Ahh, you know what, you remind me of myself.” The ahjussi gave a sad chuckle.
“How so?” I asked.
“I was just like you. In love with my best friend, who was also engaged to another.” The ahjussi revealed.
So he knows how I feel. Well I'm glad I'm not the only one in the world to know this kind of pain.
“Really?” I asked the ahjussi.
“Yup. Want to know what happened?” He asked, and I nodded my head yes.
“This happened 10 years ago, but the bitter memory is still etched in my heart. Her name is Kim well now it's Lee Nana.
She was my enemy turned best friend in college, but soon I had to go serve for the military, so I had to leave her. But before
I left, I told her that I loved her, and like you, she already had a boyfriend. After 2 years I came back, and she told me that
she's now engaged and then tried to talk or I guess reject my feelings for her, but I took them back before she could. I told
her that what I said before I left I already forgot about and she should too. I lied and said that what I felt for her was a mere
infatuation, but my heart knew it was more. Then after a while, her wedding day came. I watched her walk down the aisle in
her beautiful white gown, my eyes never leaving hers, and strangely she only had her eyes on me. Anyways, I watched
how her dad handed her over to that guy, Lee Yoonsung, and how he lovingly took her away from him, and from me,
though unknowningly. The ceremony ended, and the whole time I watched and tried my best not to break down and run
out, because I know she wouldn't want that. During the reception, they asked me to give a speech, and I gave the best
damn speech of my life. How? Well, I just talked about her. I delivered my speech, congratulated them, and then walked
away. After she married, her and her husband left, and now I think they live in the states. As for me, I'm still here in Seoul,
just waiting patiently to see if my heart will open itself up to a new owner.” The ahjussi finished his sad story.
“Ahjussi, I-I..” I didn't know what to say.
“It's okay young man. Because letting Nana go is one of 2 regrets in my life. The first, was taking back what I felt about her
in front of her, because later on years after her wedding, she sent me letter, telling me how hurt she felt when I took away
what I felt, because she also felt the same way. I read that letter and cried my eyes out. I never knew she felt the same, I
mean she never showed it, so how could I right? But she was already married, so when I took back what I felt for her, I,
unknowingly, let both of our hearts feel pain.” The ahjussi gave a sad smile.
Is this how Sica and I will be like? But that won't happen to us, because Sica doesn't feel that way towards me....but earlier
what did she want to say?
Lo- lo- hmmm okay words that start with lo.
Loan? Nope
loaf? Nope nope
Loath? Eyy~ Sica doesn't hate me. So no.
