~Continuing from the previous chapter still in Yoong's POV ~

“Oppa~” the girl happily said before wrapping her arms around me, hugging me tightly. I looked at Mr. Seo and he mouthed

for me to go along and that he'll explain later.

“Your finally awake!” She smiled wildly before hugging me again.

“Yeah, I'm sorry I was asleep for too long.” I apologized to this very strange girl.

“It's okay oppa, I'm just glad your awake.” The girl smiled even bigger.

“Um Seobaby, can you leave me and Won-Geun to talk for a bit.” Mr. Seo turned to the strange girl.

Wait, Seobaby? Is that girl Mr. Seo's daughter? And who is Won-Geun? Why is Mr. Seo calling me Won-Geun, when I'm

pretty sure that Im Yoong?

“Sure appa, I'll just go and get some food for oppa, I bet he's really hungry.” She chuckled and smiled at me before leaving

the room.

“Mr. Seo was that your daughter?” I asked after the girl left.

“Yes, that's my one and only daughter Seohyun.” Mr. Seo smiled.

“Ah~ that's right, Ms. Seo talked about her in class before.” I snapped my fingers, remembering how Ms. Seo talked about

her niece to the class.

“Haha I'm not surprised, my sister doesn't have a child yet, so she's very fond of Seohyun.” Mr. Seo chuckled.

“I see, um Mr. Seo I don't mean to be rude when I ask this, but why is Seohyun-shi acting like we've known each other for a

long time, when I just met her today? And also, why did you call me Won-Geun earlier?” I asked.

“*sigh* I really don't know how to start, but I guess a good place is telling you that Seohyun, believes that your her fiance...”

Mr. Seo trailed off.

“What?! Why?” I almost yelled.

“About 2 months ago, Seohyun was at her engagement party, but her fiance Lee Won-Geun, he never showed up. She

was so disappointed that she stormed out of the venue, that's when a drunk driver hit her, but luckily she wasn't that badly

injured, except for her head. When Seohyun first woke up after being unconscious for days she asked if Won-Geun was

back from Japan. Not wanting to put her under any stress, we told her that he wasn't back yet. After that, the Doctor said

that Seohyun was suffering from selective amnesia. She blocked off the painful memories of that night, thinking that it

never happened. We kept lying to her about Won-Geun, until she asked why Won-Geun wasn't coming. So we told her

everything and it just broke her heart all over again. She was so devastated that she wasn't eating or drinking and just kept

herself locked up in her room, but then days later she was back to normal, or so we thought. When I first brought you here

Seohyun saw you, and she immediately thought you were Won-Geun. My wife and I, we didn't want to see her be like that

again, so we decided to kept mum about it. Yoong, I'm sorry I put you under this situation, but I just didn't want to see my

little girl be heart broken again.” Mr. Seo apologized.

“Mr. Seo, I understand that you don't want Seohyun-shi to be hurt, but we can't let her keep thinking that I'm that jerk Won-

Geun, because it's only going to hurt her more when she finds out the truth...” I trailed off, seeing Mr. Seo's solemn look.

“I understand Yoong.” Mr. Seo nodded his head.

Mr. Seo and I stayed in silence for a bit, when Seohyun-shi came back.

“Won-Geun oppa I brought your favorite food.” She smiled and set the table on my lap.

“Ah, thanks.” I smiled and ate quietly, trying to think of how I can break the news to her.

“Um, Mr. Seo can I talk with Seohyun-shi for a bit.” I asked Mr. Seo and he nodded his head.

“Sure, I'll just call your father outside then.” Mr. Seo gave me a small smile before leaving me and Seohyun-shi alone.

“Um, oppa what's with the formalities?” Seohyun-shi asked me.

“Um Seohyun-shi, I don't know how to tell you this, but I'm not...” I started.

“Your not Won-Geun oppa right?” Soehyun looked at me, her eyes filled with sadness.

“Yes.” I nodded my head a little confused by her statement.

“I see, I'm sorry for thinking that you were, but I-I-I....” Seohyun trailed off and started to cry.

Feeling sorry for her, I lifted my hand and grabbed hold of hers.

“It's okay Seohyun-shi, just let out.” I consoled her, and she just bent down and hugged me.

“Shhhh, it's okay let it out. That jerk is an idiot for letting a pretty girl like you cry.” I tried to joke to get her to stop crying, but

it didn't.

After trying to get her to stop crying for a while, I finally had it. I don't know why, but I didn't like seeing her cry.

“Seohyun-shi Won-Geun may have hurt you, but I promise that I won't, so please stop crying okay? Because, I will be sad if

you keep crying. I want to see you smiling Seohyun-shi.” I told her, and she lifted her head off my chest and looked up at

me confused.

“What are you saying oppa?” She asked.

“I'm saying that you should stop wasting tears on the jerk and move on, and I'll help you, because I'm also trying to move on

from someone.” I tried to smile.

“But it hurts oppa.”

“I know, it does. But you and I, we can get through our pain right? We can forget about the hurt and move on. As long as

you promise to stay by my side, then I promise to stay by yours. We can get through this, together.” I smiled and wiped

away her tears.

“You promise?” She asked and stuck her pinky out.

“I promise.” I smiled and interlocked our pinkies.

Don't worry Seohyun-shi, we can get through this eventually.

~End Flashback and Yoong's POV~

“After that, Hyunnie and I got really close, to the point that she's always with me everywhere I go.” Yoong finished his story,

while I kept my eyes locked on his face.

“Hey, Sicachu, your crying. See, this is why I didn't want to tell you.” Yoong said while wiping away my tears. Hmm I didn't

even realize that.

“I'm sorry Yoongie, I'm sorry for being an idiot in the past.” I cried on his shoulder.

My heart hurts after hearing his story. It was all because of me. He almost gave up his life because of me. He went to that

girl because of me.

“Shhh your not an idiot Sica, you were just trying to keep me safe.” he hugged me tight.

“But..but...Yoongie, you won't leave me right? You won't walk away from me right? You won't choose her over me right?” I

asked him, while wrapping my arms tighter around his body, like he'll disappear from me forever.

“Of course not. I won't choose anyone else but you. You're my little ice princess Sicachu. Besides Hyunnie and I are just

friends, that's all.” he comforted me, and I lifted my head off his shoulder.

“Then what about that promise with your “Hyunnie” who you spent 2 years with?” I glared at him, and crossed my arms

while cutely pouting.

“Uhhhh what are you talking about?” Yoong pretended that he didn't tell me everything just now. Yeah nice try Yoongie, but

you are so going to get it now that you told me how much time you spent with that chubby cheeks.

“Oh really? You don't remember your “we can forget about the hurt and move on. As long as you promise to stay by my

side, then I promise to stay by yours” promise that you made to her which you just told me about?” I lifted my brow and

stared at him.

“I-I-I..uh...hmm..ummm..Sica you have to
