Kylie didn’t know what made her slept longer than she used to but it was as if she had given up on life. She was already wide awake; lying on her bed as she stared at the door and her mind wandering off elsewhere. Kylie slowly sat on the bed and went into the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth. Her hand turns the knob slowly and she walks into the living room; she heard sounds coming from the kitchen and figured it might be Kris. Kylie sat on the couch and stared away again,

“Did you get enough sleep?” Kris asks with coffee in his hand; still in his sleeping wear

“I guess.” she shrugs absent-mindedly

“How are you feeling?”

“It’s a question for both of us.” she mumbled

Kris leans against the wall “What do you plan on doing?”

“Have you tried talking to your parents?”

He shakes his head “No, my mom would make this happen no matter what.”

“Why?” Kylie sighs

“She likes you.” no answer “Now what?”

“I can’t just tell your parents you’re gay.” Kylie pointed out

“Kylie…”

“They’d be mad at you, everything will be much worse than it already is…”

“Kylie…”

“You probably won’t be able to face them again because…”

“Kylie I’m not gay.”

She stopped.

“What?” she looks at him; eyes wide

But then you went on of how fun it is having a gay friend like me and that you decided we’d move in together since it wouldn’t be much of a problem due to my choice of liking. “That’s not what I meant, I was planning to tell you somehow but I never got to the chance because you always bring up the topic of me being gay and you sounded happy so I couldn’t deny it; so I went on with it.”
